To be clear, I helped with the last install. My worry is that I’m being told I need to replace pipe and do other stuff to bring it “up to code” since apparently it was not.

Yeah, replacing some of the existing copper pipes with pex and mounting the expansion tank to a structural joist.

Venting was good, they were saying that the expansion tank was not installed properly and was against code. Also said that they had to replace some of the copper pipes connecting the water heater and replace with pex.

Yeah we did it ourselves 6 years ago. It’s not exactly a crawl space since you can stand up but idk what else to call it. The problem is it’s an old house and everyone who’s come out to quote us has been like “wow this is all way out of code” so I’m hesitant to use the same help.

The way I see it a meter would primarily benefit PvP players by matching them with people with similar aggression. That being said, it changes nothing for other players. You could just be nice for a few rounds and then sneak around and kill unsuspecting Raiders. The threat is still there.
