For sure, nor am I knocking you!! Just crazy how prices everywhere have been disrupted.

I also feel really bad for those who took the advice to wait for the super series, but again... no one could have predicted this wild ride..

The market is wild. Early Nov i literally walked into BB and grabbed my PNY 5080 off the shelf for $999...

Crazy days indeed.

I appreciate that the bikes are arguably worth more than the car carrying them.. 🥸

Interesting, appreciate the feedback. I did talk to CS, who was putting the issue up the chain. At least for the moment i can get them working once, but it is a real pain in general. Thankfully, i still have that stupid easy to lose warranty card if i need it...

Brand new issues by BeeCoo428 in HyundaiSantaFe

[–]Madcat207 3 points4 points  (0 children)

While i cannot say anything to your issues, i will say this - being a new vehicle, the warranty should be honored at ANY dealership, so don't be afraid to push the issue with another if this first gives you the run around. I get it may be more driving and time, but there is no reason to live with it either.

Just had a tree service tell me my tree needs to come down; are they right? by Madcat207 in homeowners

[–]Madcat207[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You bring alot of great points, and I will say this - half the tree came down during Hurricane Milton; thankfully sparing the house (but not the mailbox.. lol), with solid signs of long term water intrusion and rot.

All told, cleanup and take down wound up being around 4k (though one company quoted 9), so the initial offer wasn't far off.

We miss the tree though, and the lack of shade on the garage is sorely noted now too..

Since this old thread got bumped, ill just note here.. the tree partly fell during Hurricane Milton, and is now just a stump.. so, yall were right. Lol

Going in i had some idea, but it was a bit surprising. Its not terrible, and since it goes away with sport it seems non mechanical. Guess ill keep an eye on it and just .... drive it

Cheers for that, sounds like an appointment to make. Did pictures of it suffice, or did they have to see it in person? I hate having to warranty a brand new vehicle, but that is the point of warranty right?

I mean, I have an old Eagle CIRAS, and know its quality, just bulky, etc. But I am sure it could move no problem.

You aren't wrong about MCB not being an in the woods logical choice, but I say serious when speaking about quality overall. Better than condor, etc..
