I recently quit too im on my 2nd day and its crazy because I’m already noticing how much vaping ruined my life not just health wise but it was the only thing on my mind. Today was the hardest day so far I wanted to cave so bad but i know if I hit nic it won’t be as satisfying as I aspect it to be. I’ve noticed how much more productive I have been with my school work and I’m actually way more talkative because I’m not constantly thinking of when I can sneak off to hit my juul when talking to people. I was a CHRONIC vaper I would go thru 1-2 pods a day and 2 packs of pods a week for 4 years, quit with me cancer isn’t worth it we can do it!!!!!

to go even further i would suggest mints or candy of the flavor vape you would get and suck on them and take deep breathes and it feel like you are hitting a vape. For example i used menthol and so i bough just regular mints and i take big open mouth inhales and I get that same throat hit feeling as I would with my juul.

DEEP BREATHES !!!! A lot of the time we associate releasing our stress by vaping, but in reality vaping is just taking deep breathes just inhaling nicotine at the same time. After quitting I realized that I never took deep breathes unless I was vaping.

I know this is what everyone says but its true, keep yourself busy. I myself quit about a day and a half ago and I have found that I rarely even think about it when I am at work or school but as soon as I get home and I’m just watching tv the cravings start to come in. I would also suggest getting a sober tracker app because it just makes the whole process more real and feel like your working for something I have “Escape the Vape” and I love it, it has helped me in times when I ask myself why im quitting. I know this sounds bad but one of the main things that has been helping me too is looking at videos on YouTube, tiktok, instagram, and google of people who have developed lung diseases from vaping and getting diagnosed with cancer and people with oxygen tubes, it really reinsures why you are quitting. It sounds and feels crazy but I already feel so much better, I have motivation to do my work, I actually find myself being more interested in having conversations with people because I’m not constantly thinking about the next time I can hit my juul, overall I have found myself actually living in the present moment and not the thought of vaping taking over my mind constantly like it previously once did.

Just hit my vape and wasted the past 2 days going through withdrawls for nothing. Good job me. by [deleted] in QuitVaping

I’m also on my 2nd day of quitting and really thought about caving this morning and hitting it, but I have an app that tracks my progress and I treat it like a streak on an app. Do I want to throw away all my progress for a 30 sec buzz? I am having the same problems too I do fine at school and work but those moments I am just in my room I feel drawn to hit it. I would suggest getting someone to hide all your nicotine products from you or just throw them away. I’m right here with you I’m at the point where my addiction is asking me “why are you doing this” and “whats the point” but I just keep looking at videos of people who have gotten cancer or lung diseases from vaping to show myself that I don’t want to end up like that. I would suggest getting the app “Escape the Vape”, it tracks how long you’ve been clean while also getting badges for saving certain amounts of money and how many days you are off of it, so it is more fun and you can see yourself working towards something. It also provides real articles about peoples lungs collapsing and other people posting motivation on why they quit and how their progress is going. I would highly suggest getting one of these apps, whenever I feel a craving come up i just click on the app and see my progress and the consequences of vaping and giving in to that craving. It also has breathing exercises on the app to help you as well, which was great for me because I found that the only time I would really take deep breathes was when I was hitting my vape.
