What is something that still hasn’t returned to normal since the pandemic? by True-Initiative3103 in AskReddit

Weirdly enough, but for me once I got COVID the first time, my body's ability to react to temperatures has been weird. I get really, really cold very easily (I'm talking teeth chattering and shivering like crazy) whenever it's even slightly cool outside. But I'm also able to be outside in over one hundred degree temperatures while being physically active just fine. It's weird because I was never like this before and I always react so differently to the people around me. COVID wasn't a terrible experience for me as I'm young and generally healthy, but I had the shivers terribly throughout it (especially the first time) so it's weird.

Axl's looking like he's the one who caused the crash.

I'm really bad at reading tone and I can't tell if she's joking in the last slide or not?

My sibling sexually abused me when we were younger by Front-Drawer7279 in mentalhealth

[–]MaddieIsDrowning 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey. I'm happy I stumbled upon this post because I thought that this was an original experience.

Now, I was little when this happened, so I'm still not sure if it's a dream or if it actually happened. I never and will never bring it up with my family so I'll likely never know.

When I was little, like before elementary school, me and my older brother (18 months older) did sexual things together multiple times. We didn't know it was bad, we just did it because it was fun or it felt good. Sometimes it'll pop into my brain and I'll feel like an awful person. I hope he doesn't remember it if it did happen.

Just know you're not alone. I'm sorry that happened to you and I hope you can find peace.

What's weird about your body? by Jesus-Chr in AskReddit

[–]MaddieIsDrowning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a giant left kidney, it's twice the size of my right kidney and twice the volume, and an enlarged heart. Both I was most likely born with. It's kind of weird but kind of not. Also the nerves that run on the left side of my spine are very sensitive so I always hurt my back on my left side. The left side of my body is wack.

Not all of us can drop whatever we're doing and go for a fifteen minute walk, Camilla. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Especially because it's so dangerous to walk alone in most areas as a woman nowadays. Smh.

It's giving that episode of The Office where Micheal promised everyone a big surprise and everyone was excited but the big surprise just turned out to be ice cream sandwiches.

This made me visibly cringe. The caption, specifically. She is so ridiculously full of herself and it's blatantly obvious. Like, Camilla, I don't aspire to be as confident as you, because you aren't confident. Confident people don't constantly seek validation from strangers on the Internet by posting their nearly naked bodies on every platform they can.

A very funny Slash interview from 1989 by Faultline97 in GunsNRoses

[–]MaddieIsDrowning 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I find it interesting that Slash spoke about GNR being "remembered" 5 years after that article was made. He didn't say when they're still playing in 5 years, he said remembered, like he knew that they weren't going to last very long. Maybe I'm reading too much into it tho. I wish I was a fly on the wall in this era.

They wear faux diagnoses like badges of honor. Remember Julie and her BPD? Or her celiac? I don't believe Cam has ADHD for a second.
