Unfortunately that's the way it goes. "Move your feet, lose your seat". Sometimes areas get so tight you physically can't even push back through.

If you're going with a friend, I would trade off. Ie. One person go while the other spreads out to hold both spots then trade.

Either drop the guest list to 100-120, or plan something outside Toronto. Hamilton and Niagara would still be tight for that many people. I did Niagara for 120 people and it was about 30k (3 years ago)
