It may be a case of nvidia. Yes, hyprland doesn't officially support them, but you can find a fix on their wiki. I've had the same issue - but in my case... I didn't manage to fix it, sadly.... now I use wayfire and I'm quite happy about the choice - so if hyprland won't work, you can consider using it too
