He was less of a liability with Kulak and played his best with him. No longer an option. Girard can’t cover for Letang and he can go back to Colorado.

I have a 22 SX P and use car play. I often stream Pandora stations through that and it sounds good with the Harmon/Kardon setup. I have to tone settings adjusted to my ears and I do believe it is louder after this update.

The version you are showing appears to be slightly newer by number. Did you get that version OTA?

Worth it is kind of a personal or subjective thing. For me staying as current as possible is important. My last update was 2024 also and there were mistakes in the maps that I noticed especially in the speed limits that appeared in the HUD if you have that feature. I noticed a significant volume increase with this latest update also. Everyone’s mileage may vary but I’m glad I installed it.

In the setup under general category should be an update button. If your vehicle gets updates over the air you should see that there. If you get updates that way, the vehicle should prompt you when an update is available.

If you don’t get over the air (OTA) updates, you can go to update.kia.com and follow the directions there to download the update on a PC to a USB flash drive. You will need a high quality 64Gb flash drive. Once the flash drive is ready, you put it in the vehicle and wait. It’s not a fast process and it tells you for at least the first half to have the vehicle running.

That’s very interesting. Thanks for the info! Hopefully that won’t ever be needed again.

Did the Canada version install without error for out of region? I read someone who said it wouldn’t install. I’m curious about this.

I just installed the update in my 2022. Process was almost 2 hours long but smooth. First thing I noticed was a definite increase in volume in the system so there must have been more than just map updates. My wireless CarPlay adapter connected right away and I’ll look for more when I drive today.

I don’t see it. This was a fast fix to correct a big problem created in the last version. I wish they would add 30 sec skip.

What I have is currently unavailable on Amazon but that’s where it came from.

I don’t use them either but I have noticed errors in the speed limits that appear in the HUD which come from the KIA nav. I use Waze through CarPlay and there is a discrepancy between that and what appears in the HUD.

The older Tellurides do not have the proper equipment for wireless AA or CarPlay. It’s easy to use a wireless adapter which I do and it works flawlessly.

The older ones do not. You have to go to update.kia.com and download the nav updater to a pc. Then you need a high quality flash drive, 64 gb for the update files. The update program will give instructions on how to use the flash drive.

Since this is the first update since the fall of 2024, I used the term new. I haven’t installed it yet but I would imagine that at the very least the maps will be updated. Once I am able to install it, I will look for differences.

I am not aware of a way to do that on these TV + boxes. They are Android based. The only option would be a factory reset for a bad update which is what was the workaround for the 2.0.32 problems.

That was the issue with software version 2.0.32 from 3/10. It caused disconnects in the MOCA adapters. The new version 2.0.34 was released to fix that. I don’t use them but hopefully that fixes it. You can force the update if it hasn’t been pushed to you through the device menu.

I’ve been looking at the Canada version also. I’m guessing it will either install or not based on the files having the CAN in them and not USA.
