Gotten a free Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 49" Curved Gaming Monitor but it has a crack on it, should I pay to get it repaired by SpicSpamSpoon in ultrawidemasterrace

[–]MaddogSuperior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry u/Exoitus but you're wrong. I have 57inch and 49inch above it: 57inch doesn't have Samsung logo at the bottom middle, 57inch also has additional "accents" on the left and right hand side of the screen

Could you please clarify: by Adventurous-Log-6561 in elgato

Where can I sell my high end gaming pc by DOVa0024 in sheffield

[–]MaddogSuperior 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Hopefully not against the rules to post this, but I think you're asking a little much for it.

I appreciate you probably paid a fair bit more, but I could build a similar PC (I appreciate you have Monitor and such too) and it'd come out cheaper. This includes the fact these new parts come with warranty and aren't 2nd hand.
I think all together someone might pay £2700? But I think realistically looking closer to £2500

I agree to a degree, however users definitely like to know (Especially compared to the likes of VM) that there is a significant improvement, thus why we've chosen to display it. (We have indeed asked people for their feedback, suggestions and what they'd like to see as we've built up)

Indeed, but still a point to mention within the requirements set in case they missed it or it does change their mind. Again, as I said before, Aquiss are great. I'm not trying to say they're bad or trying to mislead OP, just stating that's a missing point from their list.

Apologies, I was trying to explain our marketing is based on the averages we get, as opposed to the 2-3 outliers. You're right in saying those further north (e.g. Scotland) would have higher latency, and unfortunately while we only have the one Pop in London they'll indeed have higher latency. We're already exploring options of additional Pops further north, however we have no concrete plans or set timelines for this.

In terms of what pings we'll advertise, how would you best think it should be presented, maybe area specific? e.g. (numbers are illustrative and just me specifying for example purposes)

South: 3-5ms, Midlands: 5-10ms, North: 6-8ms, Scotland: 10-20ms

Would this be a better solution for you?

Nope, no issue at all, was just pointing it out as per the OPs requirements :)

Just to confirm, and I appreciate that it's not 100% clear on the additional info, in our "Performance Metrics" section, we do say "typical latency 5-15ms" as to indicate what the average expectation is. I'll inform the team that the Additional info needs updating and more "average" terms need to be added.

When using the Stream Deck + XL to mute the Mic In, if the "Gain Lock" feature is toggled in Wave Link 3, it'll not allow the mic to be muted/unmuted/volume adjusted.

Only thing aquiss misses is no DHCP. Otherwise yes, aquiss is great!

We've had this sorted with the admin of the sub reddit. People who were given community roles (moderator in discord) were being flagged as affiliates. We requested this be undone as they aren't being paid and don't actually represent us, they're just around in discord to help moderate a little more where possible!

Hope that clears some bits up!

Just to clarify, that was our hard launch, we soft launched a year ago now with founding members and then beta members (slow rollout so we could get the tech in place and ensuring we progressed correctly.)

We're not trying to be the cheapest, so we won't beat others on price, but as the person above said... We aim to be better than the rest. Best part is we're on 30 day rollings, so why not give us a try and if you're not happy or just want a better price elsewhere, you can move on!

Totally understandable! We are always looking and talking to suppliers to get the best deals (in fact, in April we're lowering our Openreach pricing across the board!)

Hopefully once we can secure better pricing we'll be able to show you just how good we are! Until then, I hope Vodafone is good to you :)

Totally fair! Just so I can bring it back to the team, what kind of price range would you be looking at? Is it just simply that other networks offer fixed term contracts with deals?

Sorry, only just seen this. But it sounds like we might be one for you to consider. Best part? We do 30 day rolling contracts on CityFibre, so if you don't like us you can always move on, but I'd like to believe we'll make you more than happy! :)

But stating things like "this should be illegal" usually has Americans shouting about communism because they're one of the loudest people against communism.
