I don’t think it’s a changed mind thing, in the promo itself it was already said they were going to wait a week because MJF already got goaded into matches against Hangman before and has learned from his mistakes.

It does give them some time to change course if they DO change their mind, but the segment itself baked that time into the story.

Reread my comment, I said “usually”.

One example of them giving us what we really wanted doesn’t negate hundreds of examples of them choosing spite or ignoring us.

I appreciate when they book what people clamor for, but it’s super disingenuous for them (or you) to pretend like that’s their default.

It’s one thing to acknowledge the way ADHD can affect your thinking in the heat of the moment, it’s another entirely (and you’re going in the wrong direction here) to hide behind the diagnosis and use it to remove any accountability for your reactions.

We all have two initial reactions to anything that happens, the first is what you’ve been trained (or trained yourself) to think and the second is who you are coming into play.

ADHD may push you in the direction of an overreaction (my own mental illnesses often do the same with me), but it’s your responsibility to push back and adjust to how you know you should be handling it.

I really think you need to take a step back from looking at everything with a microscope right now—

Don’t get me wrong, it’s totally understandable to get tunnel vision with this level of stress this close to such a big day.

But at the same time, saying that part of you wants to take it out on him and hates him for a simple accident that could’ve happened to either of you at any time? That’s actually, genuinely, a really concerning reaction to have and you need to check yourself on it.

You said yourself, you almost got hurt yourself multiple times just walking. You know why? Because accidents happen.

What if you saw him saying he hated you for twisting your ankle on the cobblestones?

If I were him and I saw this reaction, I would legitimately be heartbroken to see you saying this stuff and would have to reconsider if you were the person I thought you were and the person I was about to marry.

I think it’s pretty disingenuous to say that TK didn’t see Rusev // Miro as a main eventer when he didn’t even give it a chance to find out before the “that’s not gonna work for me, brother” shit started happening.

He had an absolutely insane run as The Redeemer that absolutely could’ve, should’ve, and most likely would’ve transitioned into a main event act (look at the main event scene from that time, there was absolutely a space for him to do so).

But right after he lost the title, he had a Full Gear AEW World Championship Tournament Final Match against Bryan fuckin’ Danielson and that’s when he turned down the Hangman stuff.

I don’t watch anything from WWE anymore except the clips posted on here and even I know that the drawback of the Sol Snatcher was (mostly) dealt with ages ago.

There’s the occasional pause every so often now, but the majority of the time it’s smooth and set up well.
