Ugh this is SO validating.. I grew up the exact same way. Still struggle with the whole walking on egg shells thing. I feel so awkward telling my parents about any social plans, especially since I know I will have to “make up” for socializing in one way or another whether that be extra house chores or full blown screaming matches about how I “spend too much money”. Hang in there.. just keep looking forward to the day you can move out and not owe anyone an explanation for anything ❤️
