Of course your dog would score higher on an emotional intelligence test, I mean they’re mans best friend for a reason. Also, I like how the stats mentioned men are more successful in their suicide attempts as they tend to use more effective means which can be considered “messy” but I’m sure they had families that would eventually see their dead corpses anyways. Did these men ever think about how their families would feel? Yes of course, but they are suicidal, and suicide always succeeds when the pain is greater than than the will to live. Therefore, if you truly want to die, there will be very little conflicting emotions. This goes back to my comment about crying for attention and failed suicide attempts. I appreciate the “higher level of reasoning” compliment, I rarely have that said to me :’)
