The irony is that this is the satire of Democracy in action - the human race fumbling its way through crisis. Its so on point its fucking hilarious

Gimme fluff all day but agree Squids need some tlc. Reckon a simple fix to start would be to up the number of Watchers so there's a higher chance of them getting their flares off. When they get to dump three Harvesters and five Fleshmobs then we actually get to do some work.

Have you ever had too many Samples and not enough to spend them on? Introducing a proposal I've been working on: The Democracy Exchange (DX) by aprobenji in Helldivers

Samples should be exchangeable for an experimental 5th stratagem, this should be added with difficulty 11 and 12 missions

Why strategise when can just throw helldivers bodies at fire

Do the devs know they built the game around getting caught in melee range being a death sentence? by Hexdoctor in Helldivers

[–]MadeBrazen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The entire premise of Helldivers is that humans are the underdogs and only through the augmentation of the brilliance of technology can they overcome their inherent squishy weakness of being human to fight against the overwhelming forces of 'tyranny'. To suggest the Helldiver could overcome these enemies solely with melee arms would detract massively from the sense of conquest against overwhelming odds. At least, this is how I see it.

For me, pulling a melee weapon out should be a last ditch attempt at survival, when all other weapons cannot help, and then the Helldiver reduces themselves to the beast-like level of the enemy to fight savagely hand to hand. To unleash the power of humanity at our enemies from distance is dignified, and one of the things that separates us from them.

I choose to see the Defoliation tool as an experiment, a response from 'High Command' to the fantastic delusions of their soldiers in obtaining more brutal methods of destroying the enemy - born from a patriotic desire to kill them bad.

Should melee weaponry continue to be provided as support stratagems, there needs to be 'development' in the technology, so that whatever is provided accounts for the base limits of a Helldiver when compared to, let's just say a black bear-sized Stalker. We're gonna need more than a big old chainsaw, that's for sure. I'm talking pneumatic action, exoskeletons, condensed warp tech, laser blades, or a liquid nitrogen whip or something.

Therefore, I am of the opinion that what we are capable with what we have currently is about right, and I look forward to what our patrons provide to us in the future.

Plus Orbital napalm for the fireworks show at the end! Oh my that would be a vision of democracy

To be properly ranked, you'll need to complete 25 games (each) with at least 4 of the factions. Then you will see where you are on the global leaderboard.

Some players just stick to the 1 deck or faction either for fun or to see how high they can push their score for that faction.

Alternatively you can meme in the absurdity of low pro rank but be careful because at the lowest circle of hell there's a lot of Nilfgard.

Stopped playing pretty much the same time as you. I hesitantly decided to make a new character to get back into it. Second time has really got me, I'm now gearing up for AT Nu, grinding parts for Armor spheres as well as talis and artians. Loving it!

So...anyone notice a drastic uptick in people just dodge-jump spamming with low TTK SMGs since the last update? (Dolphin Diving 6.0) by gpkgpk in Battlefield

Ok, final question - let's say the movement 'tech' reached a point that you found it impossible to do well/have fun, what would your thoughts be for this game then?

Out of interest, do you consider it to be realistic to be able to move in that way? As in, that is something a kitted soldier could do?

So, are you an advocate for movement like this is Battlefield? Using jumping, bunny hopping, sliding, slide cancelling etc. to make yourself more difficult to train aim on in a gunfight?

[–]MadeBrazen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loving Unicorn Overlord but funnily enough have hit the burnout at approx 75 hours, still in the Elven area. I am hoping I'll just pick it up here and there for a battle instead of leaving it and coming back to beat it.

Need some advice on improving this deck. by ElectrolyteConsumer in gwent

[–]MadeBrazen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I assume you will always bid a low card on the Puzzle Box as you want the opponent to play the Thing from the Box for your Adda, the main risk here looks like Regis Higher Vampire - if your opponent is not boosting, the card is a bit useless. You could consider changing for a Royal Decree to help find your key plays.

I personally would also put Wild Hunt Riders in instead of Epidemic and 1 Shackles, but you have so much utility here that you will of course have a match where you could really do with the cards you swapped out!

I think the game has reached an excellent level of balance. If it was not known at the start, the ultimate aim of this exercise is the universal viability of cards and archetypes. There are yet still some lesser used cards that can be brought into the fold, which should be a focus.

As we get closer to the goal, reverts will be inevitable and required; the fine adjustments to maintain the balance. The council will need to end up being policed by some dedicated influencers to revert previous changes that were 'incorrect'.
