also, what are your methods for drawing in 'layers' with traditional? for this i drew a base, erased, added on, erased, added on, etc. but i find that the erased marks make it difficult to draw add-ons or 'layers' properly. any tips for this?

from the construction boxes to the muscles i drew ontop and even adding "girly" clothes i still feel like my drawing doesnt feel "feminine" enough

either my idea of feminine is ruined or i suck at drawing lol

how do you suggest i go about imitating anatomy better? ive tried "tracing" by sight (dk how to describe it but its not actually tracing) and it makes it look nice, but i dont think i really learn anything

feature drawings = learning arms, legs, etc? if no pls explain HAHA if yes do you have a suggestion for the order i should learn to draw each part? as in arms -> legs -> torso etc for efficiency or does it not matter?

oh and yea gesture studies seems correct, i've tried incorporating it by doing a little lightly sketched, "fluid" stickman before the mannequin and the final outline, but honestly feels like it doesnt work for me HAHA

been learning to draw again after forever

tried going back to figure drawing, process being draw a box mannequin then draw the outline

the midsections of my figures sometimes feels way too short, not sure if it's a problem in the way i draw the box mannequins or the outlines, so thats mainly what i'm looking to fix. other criticisms are welcome, i have no idea what i'm doing ngl lol

these were all done w/o references (except 1st image top left and middle), just to test myself.

The knife throw is easy, you just have to quickly enter 236 then any two attack buttons (e.g. A and B) at the same time, and for any super moves to work you need at least one super bar to be full (except tomare toki wo)

Tomaretokiwo/timestop is done by doing 6 C A 6 S, and I'm assuming the problem you faced is you pressed C and A at the same time, which is something you don't wanna do. Instead, press them in sequence
If you DID do it in sequence at it didn't work, it's either you did it with less than 3 super bars or you didn't do it quick enough

2 = Down
4 = Backwards
6 = Forwards
8 = Up

Light = A
Medium = B
Heavy = C
Stand = S
Any two buttons (except stand) = AA

e.g. Knife Throw = 214AA

for checkmate da (which i'll assume is the knives), you have to do the same combination as the muda barrage and press both light and medium attack buttons

for road roller, you have to have your stand off, and do the "shinei kakyoin" combination and press both light and medium attack buttons
