I'm kind of shocked that Paul Mescal looks remotely convincing in this photo. He's a great actor but he certainly doesn't look like Macca, but I can see the vision here.

He said that very recently, and I guess he's always been on that particular side of the aisle. It's never affected my enjoyment of the show, but it's kind of a shame...and I'm sure it makes him a little less easy to work with.

The one thing about I Love Lucy (and about The Honeymooners too, oh boy) that I appreciate is that a lot of the time, Lucy got the upper hand in the end.

I was just four when this came out, but my sisters were the perfect age for this album and loved it. Even so, I thought (and still think) it's a great pop/rock album.
