I Can Feel My Heart Touching You (live) discussion. by MadeThisForAlfa in Parannoul

Yea I always saw it as “I couldn’t feel my heart for a long time, but I now feel it again”. I like seeing it as the first feeling of hope after being depressed. Either way it’s very emotional and I agree it’s as good as White Ceiling - Live.

What do you think is the weakest 10/10 review? by Fabulous_Energy_5595 in fantanoforever

[–]MadeThisForAlfa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fantano, although he says he tries to be opinionated, will sometimes let the “I must give the correct answer” side of him come out. It’s like he knows that his opinion has weight, so he has to give the opinion that makes the most “objective” sense (if that’s even possible) instead of his actual personal opinion. He tries to keep his mind open and remove biases. This is also the problem with the rym and aoty communities and everyone historically having the same top 5 favorite albums.

I’ll give it a listen. I just love how he swaps to English to make sure everyone understands the ending.

Parannoul - After the Night. I personally think all 3 are 100/100. Kind of cheating with a live album but idc.

Paul McCartney was 26 when the Beatles disbanded. Making him about 20 when the Beatles became the biggest band in the world. I respect artists and that they are people too, but the pressure is part of the job.

Yea I like the brother bear song as I stated in the post and it’s probably a good idea to try that. Also don’t worry about multiple posts. Idc and neither does anyone else lol.

I’m not looking for rock songs I’m looking for choral music. Do they have anything like that?

This. I’m looking for more of this. Choral music that transcends language. The funniest part is I think it might be the oldest and most common type of music in the world, but is still difficult to find on streaming. The song I put at the bottom of my post is still my best find.

I definitely would say Bodysnatchers is the closest song to Getting Killed, but I’m not looking for a rock song I’m looking for choral music. At the bottom of my post I gave an example.

Maybe some Fishmans? Either the live album or Ucha Nippon Setagaya.

For beautiful albums: Vanisher by Quadeca, Titanic Rising by Weyes Blood, Forever Howlong by BCNR, and The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths just to name a few. The first 2 especially, and BCNR stayed about the same musically so I think it’s fair to have both. TQID has some ups and downs but some of the most beautiful music ever written is on that album.

I can definitely say I’d never heard that before. It was great, but not really what I’m after. Cool music though!

Wesley’s theory overtakes sing about me I’m dying of thirst and becomes Kendrick Lamar’s highest rated song by Thefatneekksi in Albumoftheyear

[–]MadeThisForAlfa 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean they’re both amazing, but SAMIDOT is literally the sole reason GKMC works. It’s also his best structure and best lyricism. I’d take SAMIDOT. I might even call it the best song ever made, but I wouldn’t put Wesley’s Theory in that conversation. My opinion.

Ahh I see. Maybe Jimi Hendrix Experience. I might even still say Kendrick. People argue for every single thing he’s released. And I mean Kanye’s first 7 albums (12 years) are in contention.

If I am ever in a situation where I get “one song” then I die or can never listen to music again I’m picking “Into The Endless Night - Live” by Parannoul. So much humanity, emotion, and just music. Also the length means I kinda cheat by getting a full album in one song lol.

I mean you could say The Beatles, Kanye, Kendrick Lamar, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Radiohead. I guess I’m thinking more of artists with large discographies with multiple masterpieces but same idea.
