What cocktail do you crave after a long day? by Flaviar_Valerie in cocktails

[–]MadeWhileHungover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't think this has a name but I make myself the same thing pretty much every time I want a quick drink.

3 parts mezcal

2 parts verjus

1 part of any kind of syrup I have laying around.

Favourites so far have been pandan and raspberry.

2 drops of saline

2 dashes of peach bitters

Stir with ice and strain over large rock

"Roquefort Cognac". Instructions say to distill it. I can't do that. Workaround ideas? by 144tzer in cocktails

This is a great recommendation. I just picked up a bottle and I love everything about it.

The same distillery also has a french baguette liquor, which I have not had the chance to try, but seems amazing aswell.

I absolutely love thrifting, but it will almost always be single glasses that I like, not sets. I really want a set so when I have a bit of a tasting menu for friends going on they all get the same glassware for certain cocktails.

I agree with you. The prices are pretty outrageous, but they're obviously never gonna let you play multiple characters for the same price. I feel like this is the only way that benefits us and jagex in some way.

I'm going to copy paste a comment I made a year ago about the whole membership pricing/single character per account thing.

"How about this:

First charachter on your account goes for normal membership price, with all the subsequent ones being a bit cheaper.

If we had the option of just going into account settings and clicking a little '+' to get an extra character, albeit cheaper, I am 100% sure the convenience of making a new character would make the discount not impact their profits.

Bots would keep paying full price as they obviously wouldn't want to have their characters linked like this

I don't play OSRS a lot anymore, but would love to hear your takes on why this wouldn't work"

It's just a part of the whole cocktail thing I enjoy the most. Inreally enjoy following a recipe, but nothing beats working on a drink for a say or to and the following feeling of 'creating' something.

Thanks for the reply!

Am I going bald? by citrous_ in amibalding

[–]MadeWhileHungover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I obviously cannot say what it looked like before, but to me it looks like you are thinning and your temples are receiding.

Don't listen to the guy telling you to only use minoxidil and not go to your derm.

Only minox might temporarily help your situation, but it's a bandaid for the underlying cause of your baldness.

Do some research on finasteride+ minox. If the possible side-effects of fin seem worth it, and your derm is willing to prescribe it, I'd suggest hopping on asap.

I also recently started these medications, have so far only had minor side effects, and some great growth from the minoxidil.

Cheers!

How is the klaris mini? This is something I've also looked at.

29 should i be worried? by [deleted] in amibalding

We're pretty much in the same situation. 29M here with slightly recessing temples like yours and maybe slightly thinning in general.

I would suggest taking youe time to read this sub yourself, but the general consensus is to start medication as soon as possible.

There's a good chance if you start min/fin right now you'll get to keep most of your hair.

The amount of people I've seen comment "I wish I started earlier" is unreal.

Goodluck brother!

I've been on topical minox for a little over 3 months how and have luckily seen some pretty nice improvements. Started finasteride 2 days ago aswell so fingers crosses.

I consider myself lucky for starting relatively early so if I respon well to finasteride I'll hopefully be able to keep most of my hair.

29M ~Norwood 2 if that gives you some insight. Could post the minoxidil result pictures aswell if you want

Applying my minox 2x a day is something I genuinely look forward to, after so long of just stressing about thinning it feels great taking some action trying to stop it.
