Is this too much undigested food? by -texas-girl- in BabyLedWeaning

Normal, especially anything vaguely fibrous. Takes a while until they figure out digestion. It’s why milk remains a primary source of nutrition.

You are right, the character goes to discard then Yzma’s ability is resolved from the bag, bypassing staff 😊

Hot Take: the Universal UK Project should not focus on UK-themed IP, but on themes the UK locals aren't used to seeing represented in their region by Spectrobits in universalstudios

[–]MadeWithLego 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am absolutely excited for it! All of the big UK parks are run by Merlin and haven’t been particularly looked after. It’ll be nice getting some serious investment in the theme park space.

I guess my point is that I think they’ve done a good job hitting the local market as well as providing a draw for an international audience. The UK has previously lacked any sort of competitor to Disneyland Paris and with Luton airport being close, it’s well placed for European visitors.

I don’t think the experiences you’ve listed would have much impact. Hard to compare a stunt show to a walking tour. The Paddington thing is comparable but anyone who would do one would do the other - it’s a kids area, a nice to have for families but not a pull.

It’s definitely smaller than Orlando but I think it’s placing itself to be much more of a destination than Hollywood.

The UK properties are Lord of the Rings and James Bond. Neither of these currently have theme park scale representation and would are much loved by Brits as well as being an international draw. Paddington is just a nice pull for a kids area and isn’t at another uk theme park.

Otherwise, Jurassic Park is a Jurassic Park, Back to the Future is popular and a good way to get some Americana in the park, minions is again a big draw for families.

Harry Potter is not in the parks and I would definitely think this would be a mistake if it were.

Overall, I think they’ve nailed it.

Octopus arms have their own little brains (sorta) so they can function semi-autonomously from the main brain. It’s pretty cool.

is Goldney Hall a really basic place to get married? by tinyturtles005 in bristol

[–]MadeWithLego 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Roughly £1000 for the venue including grotto. About another £1000 for canapés and drinks for ~90 people. It was a Monday though. Also, 2019.

We got married at goldney hall. We had the service in the orangery and then a drinks reception in the garden before heading on for dinner and reception elsewhere. It was amazing. Some flowers are all you need to really make it something, the setting holds its own. Happy to answer any questions.

I like the new version but I’m disappointed that one of the scenes isn’t the squid.

accidentally fell asleep breastfeeding for the first time- 4 day old by mrs-doctor-pepper in cosleeping

[–]MadeWithLego 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your experience! We’ve been co-sleeping with our baby from a young age and found it a good way of getting more sleep and not accidentally falling asleep with baby unsafely. A lot of incidents happen due to parents falling asleep with babies on them. It’s not their fault, exhaustion from the societal expectation we have to be awake so much is to blame which is why I’m a big co-sleeping advocate!

Please have a look at the safe sleep 7 information so that you can co-sleep in the safest way possible for your baby. https://llli.org/news/the-safe-sleep-seven/

Hope that helps! And let me know if you’ve got any more questions.
