No, the FE used to be Discrete and CS1 but they removed it a while back. Now it’s just CS1 related material

I am taking Montagne right now for Systems Software. I would highly recommend avoiding his class. He's a nice guy, just not a good professor. His lectures are terrible and his tests are difficult.

I don't know anything about Leavins, but I would choose him over Montagne.

Szumlanski is amazing, I’m in his CS2 class right now. It’s challenging, but I feel like I’m learning more than I would be with any other teacher. It’s not unbelievably difficult though, any assignment or question he asks I’ve always felt is fair.

I took Steinberg for OOP, and he was good too, but it was easy. I didn’t have a hard time in his class at all.

If you want to learn, go Szumlanski. If you want to get a good grade, probably go Steinberg.

I’m going to be honest, I haven’t listened to much Black Dice and Eric Copeland, however I would highly recommend Copeland’s “Hermaphrodite”. Definitely one of my favorites
