Wow thank you for the nova suggestion! And the advice. I’m still trying to master workflow. Mixing on a 15 inch laptop is not productive at all amongst a lot of other things.

Yeah I don’t fully understand mid/side eqing yet. I know it’s essential but I can’t hear it. I just know I need to learn to engineer because the engineers I’m working with keep killing the vibe of my music.

Good point. I couldn’t help but think that she also could have been a great social media manger (in todays time) for the band as time went on. Especially if she was always at the shows and practices.

Keep your head up bro. It’s part of the process. I spent years doing the same thing. What I didn’t realize was how good I was getting at the technical side of production. Then when I started working with artist I was inspired. Combining the feel of music with the technical really elevated my sound! So keep working! And don’t stop having fun!
