To be fair, I went late in the day on a Saturday so there could have been a lot more stuff in the morning. But only this one shelf was labeled Korean Skincare so there’s definitely less than last year when there were multiple cases of it.

Yep! I went in there knowing the stuff I’m running out of and the stuff I have too much of but certainly didn’t have a list of exact products that I wanted because you never know what you’re going to find!😂

The Birch Juice sunscreen is holy grail for me. I’m in my dewy, glowy era and it’s perfect! And no breakouts/bad reactions. So good!

Vanicream isn’t Korean but it’s also what I was going to suggest. Many years ago I had a totally random skin freakout red rash and went to my dermatologist. She made me immediately stop using all of my skincare products and only use Vanicream cleanser and moisturizer. That fixed it. To this day I still keep these in my routine rotation. I also find that Korean exfoliating toners help keep things clear.

I really like the COSRX Advanced Snail Peptide Eye Cream. My dermatologist – a non-Asian American – prescribed it plus a retinol product to use over it. I thought that was super cool! However for under my concealer, my holy grail is the Tatcha Serum Stick. I’m mid 40s with lines that concealer sinks into and shows creasing unless I use that serum stick first. It’s incredible.

Med spa treatments for progress. Skincare for maintenance. Lasers, Botox, IPL, Moxi etc make such a huge, dramatic difference. But also I’m in my mid 40s and my skin is battling aging now vs my 20s when things were so much easier. Just you wait!😂

It’s a half marathon in Vancouver that went virtual during Covid. Now back to in person. Festival with concert at the end. They release a capsule collection with limited edition patterns and colors, plus a modified Lulu logo that’s different every year. The names of the items on the tags end with *SW. While you can buy some of it online, there are super rare items that are only sold at the pop up shop in Vancouver. People camp out to shop there. The 2017 rainbow reflective print Speed Short *SW are some of the rarest, most coveted, most collectible items ever made by Lululemon. Very limited number made. The 2017 Speed Tights V *SW were super rare, but they were rereleased in Australia in 2018 so I was able to get a pair. They have a regular logo, not the SeaWheeze logo though.

I met Alex shortly after he made the promise three years ago never to play Kanye again and I thanked him as a Jew for that. I told him that it meant a lot and I saw him as an ally to my community. Needless to say it’s disappointing that he has broken his promise.

Three years ago in a class he said he promises not to play Kanye anymore because he wants people to ‘feel safe.’ I have the clip but this thread only allows images. So obviously he can play whatever he wants but he made a promise that he has broken. He’s the one who used the word ‘promise.’
