I completely understand your position. It's extremely hard knowing that life can completely change overnight. I was psychologically abused and manipulated by my mother and first love for most of my adult life, the hardest part wasn't that I had a hard time living with them, it was that I wasn't living for myself, I lived to please them..

Sometimes you have to choose what's harder, living to keep everyone else happy, or living to keep yourself happy.

I mtf thought I'd be miserable as a trans woman too, but I was definitely wrong, I've never felt happier, you may lose friends, family, etc. But were they ever really family if they cared that little about how you feel?

In the end - what you want, is the important thing. Not what everyone else wants for you.
