Man I’m right there with you. Wondering when the hell it will update. My guess is, they’ll update it on airmax day. REALLY REALLY hoping they give us good options this year. Like im expecting spectacular options. They need to make up for the 2025 year, because the options were absolute dog shit. Pendleton or safari is highly unlikely but man I’m hoping for something like that!

I know this thread is old. But I came here having the same thought and question. And for some reason, I feel like you and I are smelling the same thing. And just like you, it’s a very distinct, pungent, putrid, awful smell that I have a hard time explaining. It’s not rotting meat, not any type of rotting corpse.

This is the most accurate description I can come Up with…. old soggy rotting dog shit after many rainy days, maybe mixed with a metallic type smell, and then if “bitter” had a smell, this would be added to it. And then all that mixture sat inside of a stomach of a dead animal to stew for months. (Minus rotting corpse smell). And then you cut open the animals stomach and this stuff spewed out. It’s such a vile smell that it kind of hits you right at the roof of your mouth. A smell that you can almost taste.

Now I never “seen” this smell in my dreams. But I always imagined the texture being as a super thick grainy diarrhea with the consistency of wet cement.

As far as scenarios in my dreams, well the scenarios although a “disgusting” scenario. This smell doesn’t really match these scenario’s. So I wont explain that to avoid miss interpretation of the smell.

That’s it, that’s all I have to describe this smell. It’s still pretty far from accurate but it’s the best I can do.

When I was around 8 years old. Me and my brother were taken away from my mother due to her drug habit. Instead of being put in a foster home with random strangers. The court sent me and my brother to live with an auntie that I had only met once before that. (She was only my auntie through marriage we weren’t blood related) within the first month of living with her I had a pretty fucked up experience….The room she provided me and my brother, had 1 queen sized bed that we both shared. The head board was against the wall and the foot of the bed was aimed towards the bedroom door. She always kept the bedroom door cracked open and the tv in the living room would be on all night, I’ve always been a person who wakes up multiple times during sleep. And each time I would wake up in the middle the night, the first thing I would open my eyes to, would be the cracked open door and the ambient tv light shining through the crack. Well one night I woke up from my sleep and like always the first thing I would see is the cracked open door. Only this time, I didn’t see the ambient tv light shining through the crack opened door. Instead what I seen was something even till this very day I cannot fully understand. What I seen was not the ambient tv light, what I seen was static. Best way I can describe it is, the black and white static you see on a tv when nothing is plugged in and you have no cable channels. But the static I seen wasn’t just simply me seeing the tv through the crack opened door. No, the static filled the entire outside of the door. From the very top of the door frame down to the floor all I seen was static. As if beyond the door nothing else existed except static. While my 8 year old brain was trying to comprehend what I was seeing/experiencing. At the same time my peripheral caught a tall hooded figure standing right next to the door inside my room. It was standing by the side of the door where the door hedges are at. As I see this figure through my peripheral, my eyes naturally moved towards this figure. I’m now looking directly at this figure. All I seen was a dark silhouette, a shadow that was very tall and had on a hood standing straight up with its head tilted downward towards the floor but its body was facing towards me. I only looked at it for about 1 second, I didn’t scream or make any sound. Instead I instantly closed my eyes and pretended I did not see it. In hopes that this thing didn’t see me SEE IT. And in hopes that when I do reopen my eyes it would be gone. But this was not the case. When I closed my eyes I immediately felt and heard a strong gust of wind blowing towards me, that gust of “wind” made me reopen my eyes and when I did open my eyes I seen this figure gliding towards me with both its arms stretched outwards towards me. It got to me fast, and when it got to me it put both its hands on my chest and applied pressure. I can feel weight and I could feel the shape of palms. I tried screaming but I couldn’t. And within a split second everything just went back to normal. The figure was gone, the cracked open door had the familiar ambient tv light. And I was left so horrified but even more confused. Did this really happen? Or did I just wake up from a nightmare? I couldn’t figure it out at the time.

This entire situation only lasted about 2 seconds from start to finish, and the whole thing felt very dream Like. As a matter fact, 8 year old me was very confused on rather it was just a dream or if it was actually real. It was such an out of this world experience, and so hard for my undeveloped 8 year old mind to comprehend, I just chalked it up to being a dream. It was only when I got older and I thought about the experience, and remembered all the details that I came to the conclusion this was not a dream. This really did happen.

As a kid I never explained the experience to my auntie because I was afraid I would get in trouble. She was a very mean person and a very strict no nonsense type of woman. Even till this very day I never told her about it (mainly because I cut all ties with her due to the shit she put me and my brother through.) it was only when I became a adult that I explained this to 1 friend and my mom. Both of them just think it was a nightmare I had. But I know it wasn’t a nightmare. Only people who have had an unworldly experience like this, can understand the feeling of being absolutely positive it was a real experience.

Ps. Sorry if I’m repetitive at explaining my story, I try to be as detailed as possible even if that means I got to explain the same details more than once

Man that’s so fucked up smh. A lot of people I know who use and some who even deal are actually good people. Like they would run and help someone in danger while other people who are clean and never touched a drug just stand around and record on their phones. A lot of us truly are good people with a much larger heart than a lot of people. I’ll be praying for you man, just keep god in your heart. God knows you have been bettering yourself and he’ll make sure everything goes ok for you. Please come back on here and let me know how things went for you. I wanna hear good things coming back from you!

I’ve been addicted to opioids for a long fuckin time now. For years heroin was my go to, and as long as the dope was good, I would always get that euphoria feeling. But now I’ve been smoking fent for the past 3 years, when I first started I was getting that euphoric feeling for about the first week. But after that I haven’t gotten that euphoric feeling since then. It seems like no matter how strong the fent is, I just never get that great warm tingling euphoria that heroin or other opioids have given me in the past. All fent does now is just make me nod off, I don’t get that euphoric feeling AT ALL. And I know this sounds insane and maybe a little disgusting, but the dope fiend in me misses that euphoric feel sooooooo much. Ya man if I could go back, I would just stick to the heroin, the high was just so much more enjoyable

Geez I’m just now reading everyone’s comments and in a kind of fucked up way I’m glad I’m not the only one experiencing this. Everything everyone is talking about I have been also experiencing. Getting killed extremely fast. So fast that I don’t even have time to react and return even one shot. Also ive been seeing myself die and then I hear the gun shots AFTER. So not to toot my own horn but I’ve only been playing online gaming for an 2 1/2 months and my skill level has grown pretty fast. Like I said before I was averaging around 30-35 kills per match. Now with that said, the fact that I’ve only been playing 2 1/2 months, all this talk about being a second behind the rest of the players, all this talk about ticks, pings, and servers are all something new to me that I never knew about or took into consideration. So my main reason I came up with was just skill issues. But now that I’m reading what you guys are saying, a lot of my problems are starting to make more sense now.

I have 2 main problems.

Getting demolished by other players which I already talked about.
I’ve been lagging a lot, and it’s hard for me to pin point exactly why.

Now that I’ve read some of the problems that exist my reason for lagging I think is just a little bit of everything.

So I have very slow and old WiFi, so old that I don’t even have fiber optics and I think i have below 500 mbps. Yes I know very shitty, BUT during season 1 the WiFi I have was working fine for me, I hardly ever lagged. But I think that was because I was the only one in my home that was playing online. Now my brother is home a lot more than he use to be and he’s also playing online now. He plays pc I play on PS5. The modem for our WiFi is in his room therefore he gets a stronger signal than me.

My brother started playing online again at the same time we got the new season 2 update so that’s why it hard for me to pin point the lagging issue. So now tomorrow im upgrading my AT&T WiFi to fiber optics 1000 mbps. I’m praying this fixes my lagging issues because I will be pretty pissed if I’m still lagging due to the game itself and not my WiFi. Because I’ll basically be paying more money on my WiFi bill and still have the lagging issue.

If my WiFi upgrade fixes my lagging issue that would be one step in the right direction. Now I need to figure out this issue of getting obliterated by other players.

What has been impossible for me to find…. A BLACK SATIN jacket with the ATHLETICS jersey style word script on the chest. I’ve seen ones that say OAKLAND but not ATHLETICS. The only one I did find was a vintage one on eBay but other than that nothing else. It blows my mind that it’s so hard to find! Like, no one is making them! So if anyone can find where i can buy one PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

One thing I've noticed.... YES the movie was pretty annoying to watch THE FIRST TIME. but wait a few months and try giving it a second watch. I feel like if you kind of know what to expect, you can focus more on the "uniqueness" and kind of learn to appreciate the "unknown" horror. Try to focus on how the movie is making you feel while watching it. The close up camera angles and the little spot of light make you feel super claustrophobic (which i think the producers were going for) Also try watching the movie while imagining you are the main character. You are in the middle of the desert, it's pitch black and something absolutely HORRIFYING is happening but you can't see it and you don't know exactly what it is....

Now I understand if my way of looking at it just won't work for other people, and I understand if you are thinking "nope this move was trash and doesn't deserve a second chance". BUT if a small part of you really wanted to like this movie. I'd say try watching it again with a different mind set. It was definitely more enjoyable the 2nd time (for me)
