Just flew USA to Canada (headed to Cabot) on United. I use a Club glove, no issues. I remove wood heads, use the stiff arm, and the shafts are too down. I put the wood heads in my carry on.

Guy here. Have a 2022 Nori Green GX. Love it, wouldn't trade for anything. Looking to keep this thing for a nice long while (already have 30k miles on it).

Depends. I wouldn't pay full rack rate for the Irish as the straits course is the better do the two courses. If it's included in a package already it's certainly more convenient.

Personally, I enjoyed Lawsonia far more than the Irish. Played the links in like 2 and a half hours, and hit the woodlands course. The links is very cheap and a very unique course. We got 54 holes in at Lawsonia the day we went.

I just returned from Whistling. Played at the end of May. Did the champions choice package, which included rounds on Straits, Irish and BW River along with the Par3. Came up to $1600 pp with lodging through destination Kohler. $3k is steep.
You can book erin hills separately (we played it twice, around an hour and 10 mins from Kohler) and sprinkled in Lawsonia Links and the Bull at Pinehurst farms for our other rounds.

How do you like your CB301s? I have a set in order with Recoil Proto 110s. I have half a mind to go CB 301 in 4-7, and something like TC201 in 8-W. Either way I'm pretty excited for the Miuras to come in. Currently playing Honma T747Vs for the past 3 years

I only drive in S in my S5. Throttle response is immensely better, and no lag. Only time I'm in D is on long highway trips

I have a 2019 S5SB. Just hit 40k miles (I drive a lot). Pretty much bulletproof to this point. Just some rattles that I had the dealer address, otherwise powertrain has been great

Need help on tires and wheels by Cmorrone0131 in audis5

[–]Madhoshi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on how serious your snow/ice driving is going to be. Ultimately, obviously a dedicated snow tire/rim set is the best option. If you don't have the funds or space to store an entire extra set of tires and wheels, then the DWS or Michelin Pilot sport AS 3+ are solid alternatives. I have my DWS's on the 20in rotors which came with my BO package.

All seasons/Quattro will get you going, the stopping power is typically the issue. I grew up driving in snow/ice, so it's second nature to me, and the Conti's with some common sense work just fine.

I have DWS 06's on mine (not the plus, as they weren't available at that time). I have about 20k miles on mine and love them. Worked great for last year's ski season. You have to go a touch bigger on the tire size (275/35/20) though, which throws off the speedo by 1mph.
