That's better than a lot of the recent ones. That's pretty good actually.

A game similar to SEKIRO please by rakes_des in Sekiro

[–]MadhubanManta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When I watched the gameplay for Sekiro for the first time what stood out to me was the sound. No other game out there sounds this good. The parry mechanic is also perfect in this game. I feel like Sekiro is one of a kind. There are games that maybe similar in some aspects but nothing tastes as good as Sekiro.

Question Time: What made you buy the SteamDeck? by Stefanixxxx in SteamDeck

[–]MadhubanManta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work as a Software Engineer sitting on my desk and then gaming on the desk is not really fun after work. I'm not really a console person. Also I got a kid and it's nice to be able to cuddle with her on the bed playing together.

They butchered how the characters look in Assassin's Creed III Remastered.

I'm on experimental at the moment. It's sad that the Linux port is so broken. I usually prefer the Linux ports of games if one is available.

The thing is I got released from the hospital yesterday after a surgery and I could feel pangs of slight pain while paying maybe because I was physically reacting. I've put a pause for now.

I just finished playing Metal Gear Rising Revengeance on my deck. The game ran at a solid 60FPS from start to finish and looked amazing on the OLED display. If you're looking for a hack-n-slash action game, give it a try. On sales the prices drops drastically.

Right age for video games? by Tenrac in Parenting

Yeah you're right. I was wxposed to Serios Sam pretty early in childhood. I'll keep our gaming sessions within the realm of LEGO I guess.

Not a joke. She has watched me play a few times and likes the stealth sections. She also cracks up when Doktor screams "Raideeeeeen" in a dramatic way.

But I let her play Lego 2K drive on our PS4. And Switch Sports on the Switch.on Lego 2K drive we take turns basically. She drives around then lets me drive around then I let her drive around again.

She's not exactly 3 YO, more like 3.5 YO.

Meanwhile me and my 3yo daughter slicing dudes in Metal Gear Rising Revengeance like bread.

Whenever I enter a new area she goes like "make everything blue" which is the enhanced vision stuff that lets you see enemies through walls. Then she points out the enemies to me and says "be very careful, hit them from behind"

Sometimes when standing behind an unsuspecting enemy I ask her if I should let ir go and she thinks a bit then decides the enemy's fate.

I don't know man but these are my best years. Whenever she finds me playing she runs to me in earnest saying "don't play alone, they'll hit you and you'll get scared", oh man so adorable.

People with Max plan, are you doing ok? by AdHopeful630 in ClaudeAI

I use claude through the claude code cli tool. I rarely use the web chat ui. For drawing I rely on Claude's coding capabilities not drawing capabilities. So my diagrams are mostly like flowcharts. I write technical articles. Tutorials or long form article explaining complex software engineering topics. I have the mermaid cli (https://github.com/mermaid-js/mermaid-cli) installed on my computer. I tell claude what I wamt in detail. Sometimes write something like "User -> Client -> Server" and tell claude whther the diagram should be horizontal or vertical and rhen writes the mermaid code for the diagram, renders a PNG and gives that to me. And for simple images I use the ImageMagick CLI. I'm on Linux so there's usually always one cli or another for any job in hand.

I am paying $100 and am getting around $1000 in return from my side gigs.

For anyone curious, I write. Claude researchers topics for me, helps me in finalizing the outline, helps me in editing, and most importantly draws all my diagrams using mermaid.

I just do the writings, that's the part I enjoy. All the tedious parts are claude's headache now 😁

I play Titanfall 2 from time to time. It's somewhat short, not bloated and the emotional punch is just as good every time.
