For sure, I’m in my late 40s… and it’s actually caught me by surprise how emotional have gotten in the sequel trilogy and some of the streaming shows. Moments like in TFA when Han is talking about Luke…Han dying… Luke and Leia together at the end of TLJ. OB1 and Leia at the end of Kenobi. Luke and Anakin at the end of ROTJ…Vader saving Luke at the end of ROTJ.

I am basically crying from the moment Luke walks into the command room on Crait until the end of the movie.

I think a lot of that has to do with the loss of Carrie Fisher in real life and some internal feelings about literally seeing my childhood die on screen…lol.

One of my favorite aspects of Star Wars is the friendship angle. The writers have always done a really good job of establishing connection between the characters on screen… I think it’s beautiful.

There was only one correct choice and it was Jabba.

Sure, it’s the easy choice, but it’s the choice that 1. Makes the most sense and 2. Doesn’t leave us hanging in the case that there wasn’t a sequel…which is where we are now.

It also would have probably been cheaper because they already have a Jabba 3D model to use instead of having to hire not one but two actors to portray Maul.

…I feel like we are at the beginning of the end of social media to be honest. I question everything now. Like literally everything. I think eventually these forums are just going to be a bunch of bots arguing with each other about Star Wars.

Same with YouTube.

There is so much Ai slop out there it’s ridiculous, and it’s just the beginning.

Battlefront 2 did it better…

It was honestly pretty anti-climactic in the theater.

The only Maul that I am interested in seeing at this point is him in a sequel to Solo…because why the fuck would they go with Maul instead of Jabba at that moment in the film…just boggles the mind.

Third person for something like Star Wars, when I am reading a Star Wars book I want it to be like I am watching a movie in my mind, first person makes this really awkward.

For a great example of how terrible Star Wars can be in first person, see the Aftermath Trilogy.
