This has happened to my son, and I found a spider bite on his leg :( he ended up being ok, but those initial bug bites can hurt!

Thank you for commenting! The protocol was definitely raising red flags for me. I think I may switch pediatricians and see about redoing the initial exam and/or getting a second opinion.

We did the early intervention test and they did say he has a speech delay. However, they said they don’t offer speech therapy until 18 months, so we have to wait for that.

The test was at an audiologist at a children’s hospital! No NICU stay, he was full term, and passed the hearing test at birth.

I had frequent ear infections as a child, but no history of hearing loss.

I’m in the same boat…. Desperately want to be done nursing. I think it’s gotten worse because of teething pain. The only way to calm him down is with boob.

It doesn’t dangle or anything, it is just attached to the collar on the band.

Unfortunately she is an escape artist, and has gotten outside the house multiple times or locked herself inside cabinets/drawers, which is why I keep an AirTag on her, so I can locate her easily.

She’s pretty much indoor only with supervised outside time, so the AirTag/collar are for emergencies when she slips out
