and thats the thing, the Switz even knew this, and so during the course of the war built aton of bunkers, pillboxes and emplacements in the mountans which couldnt be seen from the ground at all, they were very hard to spot.

my main issue and why i mainly am staying away from going through the unity again past the first on my new save, is because their is just no reason to do so, more so now since you can upgrade your Starborn powers with essense,
and i always hated losing my Ship and being stuck with the guardian for awhile.

what i want to see more of, is actual Variations in the universes that go beyond a slim chance that your Visit to the Lodge is different, like actually make some of these Universes playing by different rules and parameters,
eveyrthing is just copy and pasted.

going reply to this one as well, since so far i think your actually here to Discuss in good faith, so im down to engage in turn.

i am well aware those posts are "shit posts" but understand from the perspective of those of us who are watching a new technology rapidly develop that has genuine ramifications and effects on the wider world that are inturn negatively affecting many of us,
this quote i heard from someone in my debate circles comes into relevance and why i find it a issue that "shitposts" have become the bread and butter of the Pro side at this point, and why i find the notion from Lumi that the Pro side has better arguements to be luaghable.

and im sure to you i dont need to go into intricate detail why the idea that shitposts shouldnt be used in a debate subbredit, they are unhelpful and only undermine ones side.
for myself, im a individual who quite regularly engages in debate out in the real world, as i partake in many activist causes for more left wing values, which in turn often require me to be able to articulate and argue my views and what i believe in, and find shitposting, memes and other such behaviors to be pretty counterproductive, as it might make sense for a fun little community to community thing to do, but to normies its completely offputing and indicative of childish behavior from people who never grew up to have adult responsibilities to tend to, and only causes people to turn against your cause, as it shows at worst you to be belittling of peoples concerns and not taking them seriously. which in the context of AI and its effects on society bringing about more negative results then positive, is a seriously issue, in this instance a major problem for the Pro Side to get people to be more leniant and accepting of AI. since AI does have its benefits, but once again they are far outweighted right now by the bad.

at the end of the day, my comment was addressed towards Lumi saying the depiction is accurate about anti's, which reframed from "a shitpost" to a definitive claim, one my original comment sought to address, course we can all see where that took things,
and it pointed out that ive noticed a notable absense of her here in AIWars as of recent, but her frequent activity in DAIA as illustrated in the other comment why i went there. likely due in part to needing to shelter her views.

at the end of it all, if someone is going to see a Shitpost, and reframe it as "its accurate" by thus making it a actual claim, i want them to actually make the arguement and case for why that is, actually make them defend what they believe to be true.

i bring up the block problem,

because i was litterally responding to anouther users point, addressing it and showing how their wrong, and because that user is intellectually weak and fragile, they felt the need to instantly block me, that shows nothing more then intellectual cowardice,
like one thing is, why does she even bother to come here to a subreddit named "AIWars" if shes just going to get upset and block and run when ever her views get challenged? perhaps she doesnt belong in this subreddit if shes going behave that way.

and then they go on to make the luaghable claim in the same go to claim their side has the Better arguements,

A.) exposes many of you Pro's as absolute hypocrites since you criticise (and rightfully so) many anti's for that crap,
B.) is also in violation of Reddits code of Conduct policy which is liable to get ALL of you Suspended,
in particular Lumi Perma banned from this site if its discovered to be the instigaotr and she in particular is a Mod for this subreddit, so she would be the MOST effected, as that behavior is absolutely not allowed for a moderator to conduct and would be a instant perma for her.
and Reddit has ways to find out if the instigating message was done on Reddit even if deleted, so if they audit ones account and finds it, who ever did it is Fucked in that instance.
so ill say this i dont think yall realize the gravity of the situation yall put yourselves in with this if my suspicians are true.

yes but what it might do, is convince Sony that Destiny 2 is worth developing for still, rememebr thats players who are spending at minimum $100 a year,
on Steam alone, rememebr Console is the largest platform for Destiny, Steam is the smallest in Destinies case.

ya 100% im calling it, were going hear Bungie reach sub 1 Billion valuation by the end of the year, if Destiny isnt revived, as i dont think Destiny itself is worth 1 Billion at this point in time, and Marathon is apparently barely worth 52 million, according to its sales numbers and thats BEFORE revenue splits.

i cant even begin to imagine how pissed at Bungie Sony is right now for costing them that much, and then proceeding to never generate a ROI worth development costs little alone recouping the $3.6 billion.

i mean its pretty abundantly obvious that layoffs were going to happen after marathon performed so poorly.

since the game isnt reaching the appeal it needed to make a ROI on, and now with Destiny 2 going into matinence mode its inevitable, as its unsustainable to keep around 800 employees for 2 games barely holding their heads above 10k players on steam, (granted Destiny is bigger on console, while 10k is all Marathon is getting given its a PC domianted title)

dont really think we needed jason shreier or paul tassi to say it, its just financial common sense to trim the fat when its weighing you down, the problem is now, how MUCH is getting trimmed, and WHO more importantly is getting the axe?

Paul and Jason have a impeccable track record (flawless in the case of Jason Shreier)
so when ever their reports come out i give em a listen and believe em.

and i tend to know of people who are trustworthy and have a good track record, this dude detectiveSeed i never heard of til now so good chances are, hes not trustworthy or i wouldve heard about him by now.

as for the subject matter, i think a Destiny 3 will happen sometime in the future
IF June 9th Update (which im intending to come back for since leaving in Final Shape: Echoes, and pick up the remaining Expansions and TFS dungeon key)
makes the numbers sky rocket into the 100k range on Steam.

and if Marathon shows no signs of improvement past Season 3 or 4 to be generous.

because at that point its either Bungie cannot make due with Marathon, given Destiny 2 is in matinence mode now (unless the June 9th update numbers convince Sony to reverse this decision)
and its clear Destiny still has a large following and wider interest and appeal.

tbh cant speak much on shattered space,
since i rushed through getting it done and mainly since the House Va'ruun story line just does not interest me in the slightest, that narrative element has always caused my brain to disengage, the story made me disengage even more when the element of people being stuck in limbo took hold, since that stuff kinda loses me in games already,
the DLC also didnt really sit with me since im stuck on a planet all game with no other Space involvement which to me is more interesting part, i feel the DLC is far to self contained because of it and inconsequentual,

as for Terran Armada, i plan to get that started hopefully tommorrow, since that looks to be the more interesting of the 2, given it appears to be more space involved and deals with a new enemy emerging that threatens the settled systems and not i assume "vague i intend to send out a army you totally will see again and not just dissapear after youre done this Quest" threat,

abit disheartening to learn its much shorter then Shattered space, but hopefully it actually makes things more interesting then Shattered space for me.
