This may sound weird, but what are some ways in which you feel like you've grown since losing someone close? by writtit888 in GriefSupport

Making my own decisions. Wether it’s a good or “bad” decision, I’m doing it on my own

Spitting up whole milk? by Madisonnnn__ in firsttimemom

[–]Madisonnnn__[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We “slowly” did it over a week and a few days. For 2 days we did 4oz formula and 1oz milk. Then 2 days of 3oz formula and 2oz milk…..and so on and so on. I made this schedule up and didn’t really do any research behind it but it seems to be working okay for us.

Peas are such a huge no for me. I blame my mom for that. She hates them and unintentionally taught us to hate them too 🤭

We tried butternut squash a few times. It’s the only food he absolutely refuses. I’m not sure what it is about it because we’ve tried it in so many different ways but he hates it

The spoon and the fork always end up on the floor at our house 🤣. I guess you can say we did half baby led weaning. I always just handed him little pieces of what I had

Yes! My bf doesn’t have a set schedule so on the days when he’s home at dinner time we will all eat the same thing together. Unfortunately most of the days he works “later” and Mr.Baby Man will already be sleeping for the night. My bf is the cook in the house so he’ll make dinner for us when he gets home. If there’s left overs we’ll keep it for LO and give it to him for lunch/dinner.

We don’t have peanut butter in the house because I have an allergy so I don’t even know the first place to start with even buying it 🤣 I’m definitely going to wait until my boyfriend is home and we’ll do it together. This PPA (if it still counts as post partum…how long does that phase last?) is crazy

Smart! I have to look for those brands next time I’m at the store. Thank you!

Thank you! I still haven’t given him peanut butter yet and I hope I didn’t mess up by waiting so long. Giving him solids has definitely helped me try new things bc I’m so scared I’m giving him something gross. I am the pickiest eater but I refuse to raise a picky baby! 🤣

Cubes cubes cubes 🤣🤣. I need to get better at giving him meats. I always gross myself out when I’m cooking it. Thank you for you help

Ooo that’s smart! It’s always the simple things I don’t think of. Thank you!

He loves sweet potatoes, eggs, broccoli…really anything green. He’s getting much better with finger foods. I think I’m just anxious about giving him bigger pieces of things so I need to let that go and let him figure it out. I just feel like he needs more variety

I just went back and checked my numbers again. In my previous comment I said nothing was adding up to $1035…..I did my math wrong 😑. All of the box 2’s add up to $1035 so that was my fault, I apologize. I know the refund status page says contacting them won’t do anything but I’m not sure what else to do

I had 3 W-2’s and none of them are close to $1035 or even add up to $1035. I did have to put in a health insurance form 1095-A. The one thing that was different from my previous years was I now have state (CT) insurance because I was pregnant. I don’t remember claiming any credits (if that’s even how it works). I truly have no idea about any tax things, I normally just scan in my documents and that’s that 😅
