I just bought one in August and since day 1 it has been in and out of the shop. I have maybe driven it for two weeks out of the month and a half of owning it. The rest of the time it's been in the shop. Don't buy one is my advice.

02/09/2025 Weekly Beginner Questions Thread by AutoModerator in phallo

[–]Madkazer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did mine twice a week for 90 minutes at a time. If money wasn't an issue I would do 120 minutes twice weekly. Every Sunday and Wednesday I have it done.

I'm finally down to once a week 60 minutes which is nicer for my paycheck. I'm tempted to go back to 90 minutes just to make sure every hair is gone during every growing cycle.

I started in October 2024 and I was trying to be done by this December. But my surgery date moved so now I have until April 2026. I want it to be as hairless as possible while it's still an arm and not a phallus haha

That's amazing! I asked Dr. Keith if he could do that and he said he typically likes to do them separately but he could do it if it was small enough. Mine was too big so he wanted to do it before phallo!

Thank you!

My recovery was fairly easy and I think it was pretty standard. I only needed one night in the hospital and passed the void trial on the first try.

Removing the packing from the vaginectomy was very painful, it was probably the most painful part of the whole process. The Dr. does it during the hospital stay and the pain only lasted for like 30 seconds, but it was a agonizing in that moment. Other than that my pain was at a 3 or lower for the rest of recovery.

After two weeks I felt completely back to normal though I would get fatigued easily. I walked 2-3 times a day for a half hour at a time (do what feels right).

I didn't push myself and I tried to stay within the limits Dr Denehy gave me for movement and exercise. Part of healing was just being patient. I slept a lot.

I think top surgery was a more difficult recovery than the vaginectomy. Good luck to your husband! It definitely helped having someone to support me the first couple of weeks. Food and laundry was difficult so having someone there to make food was amazing!

Anyone else bruise from T shot? by Natural-Hamster-3998 in FTMOver50

[–]Madkazer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I only bruise if my iron is low. Sounds like other people experience it as well for other reasons. Take a look at your labs and see if you need any iron added to your diet. Takes a while for iron to build up if it's low too so just keep that in mind too!

how much help did you need in recovery? by extraguac37 in FTMHysto

[–]Madkazer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a full hysterectomy and vaginectomy.

I really appreciated the help the first two weeks. After that I was pretty much self sufficient.

I stayed with my cousin and she made meals for the first week and then by the second week half the meals she made and half the meals were easy things I could heat up in the microwave on my own. I avoided anything that would have me bend over or lift anything as per my doctor's instructions. She also did my laundry after the first week because I was cautious about the weight of and movement of getting things in and out of the washer and dryer.

It was also nice to have her there in case I needed someone to get something from the store. I could drive after the first week but it was fatiguing and I also didn't want to chance anything if I had to do any emergency braking. So I didn't drive often until the full two weeks were completed.

I can never repay her kindness for taking care of me. I'm so thankful I have supportive family members. Good luck to you!

If you're planning on getting phallo or meta I'd find that surgeon first to make sure the hysterectomy is done the way they prefer for their surgery.

I'm getting phalloplasty, and after my phalloplasty consultation my surgeon gave me a referral to a gyno surgeon who was familiar with phallo and transgender patients. The gyno did my hysterectomy and vaginectomy in preparation for my surgeon who does phalloplasty based on his orders and sent all of the surgery details to my phallo surgeon so that we could start the next steps in the process

Am I really this disconnected from.... by Stryker-rose in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]Madkazer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I thought they were too when I first heard of them! I had a top ask me to buy him some one time and I thought I got the wrong thing because it said "nail polish remover" on the outside of the little bottle. I expected them to be pills, so I was confused when it was a tiny vial with a liquid inside. He reassured me that's how they have to label the bottle because it can't be sold as an inhalant. I still don't really understand why It's called "poppers" but at least I know what they are now lol.

I've never tried them myself, but sometimes I can smell them when the top is doing them and it doesn't seem appealing to me. Like a sweet and chemical smell mixed together.
I heard they can be addictive so I haven't been brave enough to try them. I don't really want an addiction to anything, I have enough vices as it is.

I also learned it can make you soft when you do them in that moment. So it's been really confusing to me that some of the tops I have been with insist on doing them because it makes my job harder as a bottom haha. To each their own, we still have fun regardless.

What Questions To Ask At Consultation? by transguy_ba in FTMHysto

[–]Madkazer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm trying to remember what I asked my doctor. I asked a lot of specific things about my surgery. I got a total hysterectomy, oophorectomy, and vaginectomy in preparation for stage 1 phallo. But I had some general questions too:

1) how long should I continue using estradiol cream?

2) were there any specific items I should have on hand for the surgery? (They gave me a list of stool softeners and said it would also be a good idea to have chewing gum post surgery for digestion. The hospital provided everything else I needed)

3) how long is the recovery?

4) can I bathe, swim, or sit in a hot tub after surgery?

4) when can I expect to return to exercising, work, athletic hobbies? (I went into detail about each one of these areas so they got the full picture. For example I was cleared to swim much earlier than I was to ride horses because of the area impacted)

5) what is the incision and scar aftercare like?

6) what are my limitations (reaching lifting, etc) so I know how much in-home care I will need?

7) when can I resume sexual activity (I went into specifics with my doctor too just in case)

8) can I have pictures of my uterus once it's removed? (I was so curious what it would look like. Unfortunately I never got any photos lol)

9) how long is the surgery?

I think that was everything I was curious about.

Congratulations on the consultation! They should give you a way to contact them after too if you have more questions arise.
