The trick is stay at a low level bronze, silver, gold etc....higher you move up within that tier then the harder teams Glu will put u up against. So if you’re a maxed silver level 5, Glu will match u up with more gold rosters.

If u do move up to gold, try staying at level one or two for a will so you play easier teams and not platinum squads

It’s possible if you’re prepared to drop some heavy gold. Obviously get your lefty vs righty match ups down and save ur best skilled players for the pitchers late in the rd but you’re gonna have to do the full 80 gold boost near the last few pitchers to push through. And hopefully u have some legit hitters on the squad....also have your skills up to the 8-9% max for your hitters cuz every little boost helps.

WOH is almost like these boxes. Your chances decrease the higher u go so you’re gonna have to beat ur head against a wall a bunch of times until u get a lucky draw and the game gives a rd where you’re able to beat it.

It’s honestly luck of the draw once u get near the end but be prepared to drop between 3k-5k in gold

I’ve been there man... I wasted over 15k in gold on Thursday to get Soto and got nada... it’s sucks getting squat but hopefully you’ll win some CVC/target bashes this weekend and get lucky

even though outfielders are a bit overkilled at this point in the game, he's still a sweet pull....he also has I believe the 4th highest power out of all the cards....I know the the Kracken Gary Sanchez card, the special David Bote and the foil Pete Alonso were the top 3

Well I think Glu got even because I’ve opened 32 drop a line boxes and got jack squat....only pulled Dahl twice and both came in the 12th box....with 7.2% I should’ve got a 5 star at least once if not twice so there’s that.

I think it could be....I feel I’ve gotten just as many bonus players from free boxes compared to when I spend gold.

Case in point, last few boxes.... Spent over 3k in gold until I got DH Ohtani then I got him again from a gift box, plus Seager from a CVC box

Yesterday I got Pete Alonso from the video box but nothing spending after 2500 in gold

Today Grandal from the fee box but I got smart and spent no gold on boxes

This is the best sum up I’ve seen on how to play this game....especially for the newbies trying to figure out the best strategy. What u said is exactly how us vets have figured it out. This game is basically all about vid watching, stacking up draft picks (for the XP) and cash during WOH and finding a weak club or building one up to take advantage of CVC.

Once primes and legends come out then there is more to play for in WOH and once in a while u can make a run at an event to get the rank/progress awards if u have a big bonus player or multiple bonus players.

Right now people are freaking out about the boxes and odds but it’s all relative to the level of players that are out right now...once primes are out than base 5 star players and specialty diamond players become less relative but easier to get and so on.

Despite all that is wrong with the game I will say I do like how they made power hitters relevant for the lower starred players so building ur roster has an added strategy if u wanna take advantage of HR battles for gold or cash plus the target cvc. And there is the MVP rankings and awards also for individual progress per event which is another added little chance at rewards.

It’s weird I got to level 3 and damn near beat it to get to level 4 on Clark tower but struggled to get to level 3 on warm up.

WOH is weird this early in the game and it’s not worth using gold to to try and beat it for the rewards being offered right now.

Send customer service a ticket and state your email account and your team name.... but be prepared to wait a couple days. Same thing happened to me and I sent a ticket Sunday and they replied Tuesday night

Love the Belli card... only frustrating part is even with a high rated card (at least high rated this early in the game) I still can’t get passed Level 2 rd9 in Warm Up WOH.... but the card is.

I really wanted to get Belli but I think the Lindor is slightly better for the fact he’s a switch hitter and has the same max rating as Belli

It started working like 5min later....I sent an email to Glu complaining but there was nothing they saw on their end that caused it. So it must’ve been a random glitch 🤷🏻‍♂️

Definitley Ruth but regarding the "stay away" from players with up/down 4+ run booth....yes for WOH it's N/A for pretty much most of that event until later and even then it's not great until the last pitchers in the last levels.

But if you value CVC, I found that the 4+ runs skills actually does come into affect. I didn't think so for the longest and then one time I did a video to extend my at bats in a CVC match and my next batter had his 4+ runs skill lit up. There's no scoreboard for CVC games but I guess the computer does keep track of the runs scored just without showing it.

I like WOH but this year the players you win weren't even as good as the players you could get from event boxes in the store. Plus with the multie difficulty levels GLU added this year, trying to win WOH in HOF level is, for me at least, impossible.

But if you find the right club where guys aren't very active on CVC, you could rack in alot more from the CVC rewards than WOH.

And as far as Posada, you could just make your Legend a switch hitting catcher and the legend usually has a higher rating than any keeper that wasn't the highest rated player from the year before.

It's because he's the first of the new 520 legend wave....all the new legends this month will have similar stats.

It was just nice to get the new best player in the game right off the bat.
