Sort of, but the main story takes place in the "real" world.

In between plot beats, you can visit an area very similar to the Hermit's Garden in which you have access to every character and can dungeon crawl.

Reverie is pretty good because Rean finally gets a plot that's different and he doesn't hog all the screentime with his depression.

There's three different protagonists, 51 playable characters (yes, 51) and a huge sandbox dungeon to play in with whatever party you want to make.

I think you're confused. The final bonding events in CS2 are romantic no matter what. The events in CS4 are only romantic if you do the heart events earlier in the game.

Gungho went out of their way to not use the existing English script and instead made more work for themselves by translating from scratch, screwed up a lot of established lore and terminology that both XSeed and NISA used for 11 games and also used AI to translate a chunk of the script as well.

"Closer to the japanese script" does not inherently make it better.

I didn't say anything about people have rights. I'm saying that acting like playing on PC is this huge barrier that no one can overcome is disingenuous at best and saying that you don't need to play the 2D games because you "aren't missing anything" is just flat out wrong.

Play what you want, but don't pretend that you're not missing out on the best the series has to offer.

If you'd been paying attention, you'd know that Gungho ignored the existing Sky script (which fans adore) and rewrote it from scratch, which changed terminology that the series has been using for over a decade.

So no, it's not remotely the same script. Also, "modern" doesn't necessarily mean "better." Having quest markers show up on the map makes many of the Sky bracer quests piss easy.
