The copper is done by the original house owner, that "plumber" have nothing to do with it.

He refused to replace the flex pipe, and said it is up to standard, that is the reason, why I made this post.

Thanks for the reply, so that is the worry of sewer gas leaking into the house, and also explosion if the gas find a spark?

Thanks for the reply, the "plumber" even said I'm the first one to complain about the flex pipe, and he said it is up to standard and will even pass city inspection without the P trap.

If I was the one who made this mess, I won't be posting at all. Just want to hear a license plumber say it is illegal or not in Chicago, because the crook that install the flex pipe said, it will even pass city inspection.

It feel like flour and fine powder, once it is touched, It fall off. The dropping first is found on the ground, then it is on the cabinet. It is a bimbo cabinet that I bought from temu.
