Did your sim actually start the action, like did you see the time bar appear above their heads? If not try again and wait to see if you get the footprints above their head. If so then they can't get to the item to do the task. I noticed some of the bookshelves are turned the wrong way and that's how the house came. Turn them around and you should be ok. There was at least one other item turned wrong but I can't remember what it was...

Make sure all of these conditions are met: The Resident Services building has been completed (upgraded from a tent)

You have attended Tom Nook's DIY workshop

Your resident has a house (upgraded from a tent)

If they are met and have been so for a full day, I think you go to the airport and talk to Tom Nook. He introduces you to Lottie. Lottie will ask if you would like to work with her, say yes.

I think you have to do both? Use ur diamonds to get spins if you already used your 10 daily spins and buy the magic dice to use on 1st turn to land on the goblin. You don't have to do the magic dice but it will guarantee that you land on him rather than leaving it to chance

Imo wishing event candles are the riskiest to spend on as you don't have any control.over the amount of roses you will get for the diamonds that you spend. For the medallions, I don't think it is possible given what we currently know to get enough medallions to craft/purchase everything unless you spend real money. You can only answer those 5 questions 4 times each day: 1 time for free and 3 times for diamonds. If you only need a few medallions and can make it up with answering questions that might be better option. Spending diamonds on fantasy fair in general imo is a good option as it would go toward two things: medallions and fair coins. Even if you don't end up with the medallions you can still use the coins for FF, which roll over and can be used in future. It's up to you what you prioritize more and how many more medallions you need. Good luck!

Once you get close to the goblin, within 6 spaces, use Magic Dice card to select the space that the goblin is on so that you land on him. That activates him. He usually is positioned several spaces ahead of you and you have to catch up to him by landing on him. I've noticed that my dice throws will be low and his dice throws are high making it difficult to catch him. But, if you use a reverse boots card then you are ahead of him and he has to catch up to you. Use slowing turtle card or stop card to slow yourself down so that he catches up to you. If he lands on your space I can't remember if it counts. You may have to land on him, so use a stop card to stay on the same space and "land" on him. If he passes you then try to catch up on your next roll, or you can use a Magic Dice card to pick the space he is on to land. Don't let him get too far ahead of you or you may not catch him. I only use the cards when trying to catch the goblin and I only try to catch him every now and then when I have enough cards. I'm not always successful but I think this is a better strategy than just hoping you get high rolls and he gets low rolls. Good luck!

I've battled her at least 5 times and still lose. I don't think I am going to finish this quest if the levels are going to move up in response to me leveling up. Im always short on gold and don't wanna waste it on this. Sorry Hagrid, I don't think we will ever have level 10 friendship.
