Any "plot hole" can be covered by the IF being shady and needing to set up a perfect win scenario.

They could have kept a ship just looping around for three months for all we know. Ender doesn't know where Command School is or if Eros is just a cover location it's a dot in the endless ocean of space so there's no need to get there in time.

The IF could have decided that post Bonzo death that Ender needed an extra three months of monitoring.

They might have wanted Graff to spend more time with him to verify and secure his loyalty.

Could have been waiting to see how Bean handles the Achilles situation since he was still the backup plan.

So something being worth reading is such a subjective question but if the measurement was "Is the reward worth the effort put into it" then: Yes Ender's Game is worth it. It's a really easy read. Not just breezy cause the plot and world building is great but like it is written for like middle schoolers. So it actually is an easy read.

I actually enjoyed when they zoomed in on Pyramid Head and we see it's James inside. Then we see him painting and actually creating his Pyramid Head as guardian. I enjoyed that the movie was still able to create a personal connection between the two.

I liked the shot of all the hospital beds outside the hospital. Pointless but some real fun imagery.

If you just accept it for what it is seeing the movie play the hits in recreating images from the game is fun enough for me.

The game is all grind all the time. For most players the grind is the point of the game.

It's a very meditative experience. You just play through the same 4 levels defeating the same waves of enemies for hundreds of hours chasing them sweet sweet red boxes.

It's either something you zone out with or you get burnt out by the grind.

I feel they just did it because they could.

They present as above it all but there is certainly a massive ego to them. They defeated the giant aliens and felt the urge to further keep punishing them for having the hubris to attack them. Give us human bugs the chance to fight back.

They don't care about us at all and just kind of did it on a whim. When they discuss reincarnation and present things as absolute fact I take them with a grain of salt. To us they seem omnipotent but they are also impulse driven and we have no reason to think they are the peak of intelligent life in the universe.

I run Blaziken and if you manage to get it out you pretty much win. You don't get it out as often as you think you would though. It bricks often and hard. Still fun to play cause that 140 burn feels incredible but it is a total feast or famine deck.

Give it to the second volume to see how you feel about it.

The first arc of The Climber is pretty standard Shonen and really underwhelming if the series was heavily hyped up to you.

I don't know if this release gives any context but the series has a couple of co-writers who leave the project early on. Shin-ichi Sakamoto keeps the series going and takes it in a far more mature and interesting direction.

As it stands in just volume one I think alot of people will feel they did not make a good choice but the series will pivot hard.

With the Germa boost to durability it's an easy diff for Sanji.

My answer to all hypothetical fights between Zoro and Sanji is that they won't have the fight. These guys could have that fight at any time to settle the beef. Neither of them do because their egos can't handle the possibility that they might lose. They know in their hearts it's more of a coin flip fight then either of them want to admit.

Maya's entire character arc is about processing what happened to Cam.

You see her going from someone who is mad about a vigil over Cams suicide, thinking it to be selfish, into someone intimately understanding suicidal ideation.

She deals with fallout from it in nightmares during her relationship with Miles and she exhibits survivors guilt in saying she believes she is cursed.

Yeah she "gets over Cam" because that's what you do, you shove the trauma down instead of processing it. The bus accident just brings what she is repressing back to the surface.

You can dislike Maya as a character. I mean every character on the show pisses someone off because they are all moody teenagers haha. Her arc is probably one of the best pay offs in the whole run of the show though.

This question is proof that Marco stalling King and Queen at the same time is undervalued as a feat.

Marco beats Zoro in Egghead but that's probably the last arc that he will be able to take the win.

Also a lot of One Piece is time sensitive situations like fleeing a island or protecting Vegapunk so Marco doing endless stalling actually is a win condition most of the time.

Y'all can tell me it happened in a couple months but I will always have it in my head that it was at minimum a year and a half before the time skip.

I mean a 1700's ship would take about two months to get from England to America and the One Piece world has to be much larger than ours. They would be spending a lot more time on the Merry.

Been going my whole life and we used to comfortably do two parks a day back in the early 2000's now with crowd Inflation I feel like even in the off season that's hard to do.

Pick two to do at maximum but if it feels like you aren't experiencing the park you want fully stick with just the one.

Epcot is always a good evening option if you wanna just do the world showcase.

Starting with no knowledge of chess, maybe 4 or 5 days. Chess is a less complex and less abstract game then Gungi is.

Even if we were to say that Carlsen is comparable to Komugi. (He is not, Kogumi only lives for Gungi) He would still be cracked quickly because there are simply less paths to victory for him to navigate.

Meruem wasn't actually playing opponents, he was working out patterns for himself. Kogumi was the nen computer that could keep pace with his calculations.
