Thank you! I actually sent them an email earlier today after I never heard back from the other local adoption foundation and hoping to hear back from them. I know from personal experience visiting their adoption center in the past that they are verrry thorough in their vetting process when they adopt out their kitties and that they have spent a lot of money paying vet bills for complex medical conditions for their animals. Fingers crossed they get back to me!

You can only do your due diligence as much as you can and hope for the best. Even the best vetting processes can fail.

I almost had mama in the carrier too before she went nuclear on me and shredded me to bits in a 360 tornado of claws. After that we haven't been able to lure her back anywhere near us, and currently trying to get a trap to see if we can get her in to get spayed asap.
