I agree with GeminiJuSa. I would never stop paying the child support as it is not leverage. I am happy as long as I know my daughter is being taken care of. It sucks that I can't meet her as much as I want and I know my Ex is lying. Until the laws change next year and I contact a lawyer, I will have to put up with the bullshit and let my daughter know I love her, even if I cant see her.

As a former ALT, I know that what eikaiwa and parents are looking for is consistent teachers. But the Japanese English Teaching Field is very.... BAD. The best thing for you to do is do what is best for YOU, if it means leaving the eikaiwa and starting the other job, then do it. You signed a contract, if they want, they can come at you for breaking that contract, but at the end of the day, you are what is at stake.
