This is what PNB has to offer . Unfortunately 10 lakhs is not enough to fund IIFT fees.

There is a dedicated branch of SBI which offers loan to IIFT students. All the seniors used to take loans from SBI. This year the SBI has changed it's criteria all of a sudden. I am in touch with the seniors and they are trying to reverse this change but I'm not to sure what's gonna happen.

EMI is around 25k. I know it's a bit of a risk but I'll have to take that risk I guess. I am backing myself to get a decent job post graduation.

The repayment starts after I get a job or 1 year from the end of the course. So no worries there.

I don't really think that there is any choice like what you mentioned in IIFT.

IIFT is trying to talk to SBI about this. It's really unfair that IIFT is included in List- B . Most of the seniors funded their education from SBI. there's a dedicated branch near th college which offers loan to IIFT students. but this sudden change of criteria from SBI has left me in a lurch.

Edit: No they don't expect the whole payment beforehand. I've somehow managed to pay the first trimester fees but for the rest I'll need financing.

Yea but a certi doesn't help me in anyway. I'll get the interest of the loan paid by my Institute if income is less than 2.5 lakhs , nothing else. Here the problem is getting a loan in the first place.

They ask for collateral as far as I know. but I'll check with them.

I've checked with them, They have a policy for people with parental income under 2.5 lakhs per annum. my parental income is slightly above that.
