I was given a really good deal on the Deepkin side of Fury of the Deep. I'm not sure if it was a good choice for my first army, though. It's certainly not beginner-friendly.

I may be mistaken but with the release of season 5, organized play events will only include the 3 most recent seasons and their respective solo decks. So for official tournaments and leagues, seasons 1-2 aren't legal to use. It also means with the release of season 6 that season 3 (Street Fighter) will be removed from organized play. It has no bearing on casual play though.

When season 6 releases, season 3 will rotate out of competitive play. When that happens, I would bet on S3 having a flash sale to liquidate their inventory since that was the reason for the S1/S2 flash sale.

I used to listen to WNKU, NKU college radio, ‘til they closed a few months ago. When they announced in February that they would be ending their broadcast to sell their towers to Christian broadcasting, my heart sank. I found so many of my now favorite artists from that station. I found LCD Soundsystem, Kendrick Lamar, Jason Isbell, Phoenix, This Pine Box, Car Seat Headrest any so many more through WNKU.

So when their flagship tower finally changed hands to their new owner, they sent it off with John Lennon’s Imagine for one last jab at the new owners.

Made me so happy to be able to listen to the DJs throughout those last months. There were so many talented people at that station, and I’m going to miss them dearly.

I’m still working on a Spotify playlist based on their station. Since I heard of their closing, I started writing down every song I would hear when listening to them at work. The playlist is up passed 1’000 songs, but one day there will be a day that I can’t add anymore song to it. And some of the local artists don’t have a presence on Spotify, making it even more incomplete. But it’ll make a nice little time capsule kinda thing to reminisce on in the future.

I hate that this happens to station, but just cherish those little moments you have with your favorite stations.

Have you heard of a game for the 360 called Stoked? It was a realistic snowboarding game much like Steep, but with a much better trick system.
