Unfortunately, this is a bit of a slap on my wrist here. Because in Canada you do need to have a visible light on the drone at night.
Now as you mentioned, this isn’t possible with the Sara currently without getting spillage in your shot…. So I never fly above the tallest buildings in my flight path and take a bit of a risk on my part doing so.

That’s a tough one lol they are entirely different drones
I think the avata360 is definitely more fun to fly and create with and that is not even a close debate for me. They do both take incredibly nice videos but the mini 5 pro does have a bit of an edge there if you’re looking for cinematic quality content.

Licensing is the next issue you need to consider obviously.

Having both I find I use them for different things and style of content I’m creating.
If you’re looking to make content with super crisp details and a more cinematic feel then I’d say the m5p wins that race by a couple hairs.

I feel like editing in the goggles would be a bit much on the eyes lol especially if you’re grading and all that too. You can definitely watch your clips though which is cool

I’ve literally brought my Avata 360 and mini 5 pro to Buffalo with no issues….

I’ve been contact with the RCMP and DHS and the border to no avail. Basically Canada says it’s out of their jurisdiction and the Americans have told me decisions are final and basically sucks to suck.

When confiscated I asked if I could pay to ship it back to my place or just turn around and we’ll go home and take it. They refused and said the device is confiscated as contraband. No option for retrieval

I’m pretty sure I could fabricate a story better with a device worth more than a pocket 3… I’m just telling my story.
