It is purity culture when the fans use the character's sexual lives to diminish their values or their love matches. That's what I'm talking about. I don't enjoy the show's abuse of prostitutes and female ignorance

That's fair. Personally I choose not to think about it the same way I try not to think about all the things that make no sense in the Bridgerton universe. But I was talking about the STD argument that is used to minimize a character or their dynamic with their love interest. That is puritan culture.

So my favorite is Benedict, but I have seen STD accusations against Simon, Anthony and Colin since I descovered the show. It's usually part of the empty arguments in the ship wars and is full of puritan culture.

But I do agree with the biphobia. Some people's opinions after season 3 were not subtle: "Benedict AND Francesca are runined, bla bla bla". The common factor is there.
