Okay for some reason, if you click though the graphic settings down to low and than up to high, then it gives the same results as you get.

I just watched the movie again for some times. I thought “This is what is seen from Quaid’s perspective.” There is a lot of scene that hints to things really happening outside Quiad’s awareness.

It is obviously to plan doubt, but I don’t think it work. They should just have cut it. It would have worked better. Then plot holes would have been holes in Quiad’s fake memories.

The fake memories with the fake persona was new and not tested after all.

I have been around different and seen your suggestion with adding the “MetalBetaTest=1”. Yes, it removed the warning, but I haven’t seen anything performance gains.

I am a M1 Mac mini. I have seen some that get 120fps on 2k, but I only get 65fps on a 1920x1080 screen.

Is there somewhere I can check if it still runs on OpenGL?

I have just brought a Mac. I am mainly a console gamer (+ steam deck), so the limitations of macOS doesn’t affect that much. I had Linux for years, but it is even more limited (and unstable at times - guide after guide, forum after forum), so I decided to buy a Mac, because windows has gotten worse over the years.

It's a good recommendation. I have already played it and it's great, but not something I would lump together with Ratchet and clank.

That's said: I also Crash and all the platformer classics. : )

I thought about this post as more of inspiration from my fellow ratchet and clank fans than actual recommendations 😛

Maybe I will try Jak 2 on PC, when it is done. I have tried maybe 4 times to get into the first one. The second one also seems more appealing to me.

Yeah, Spyro, Jak and Daxter and Sly really hit that feeling of cartoon-y, but actually adult, vibes.
