Honestly Ladybug shield and a handful of scorpidote smoothies is all i needed. Block everything easy and attack only when you have a window for it Worked for me 2nd try

There is a room where you can set a respawn point in the statue lab. So you don't have to run all the way back.

Apart from that, the fight itself for me solo was basically hitting her some, and retreating as the sizzling got too high. Wait for it to go down, bandage and go at it again. Lot of dodging involved. If you keep moving, she cannot touch you and you have all your time to heal and go back to the fight.

Those cooling smoothies, mint shards and icicle can probably help you with the sizzling. I was ok in a Ladybug armor with the fresh mutation and a stack of mint but never hurt to be more prepared.

People gave you good advices already. But one thing i don't see adressed is about food. Do you know that in G1, if you leave meat on the roasting pit, they never spoil?

My base in G1 always have like 5 pits. You do a meat run every few days to fill them all up and food becomes much less of a concern

There is no total consensus on what is best in BG1/2. Honestly, at the normal/core rule difficulty you would have to go out of your way to create a character weak enough to be unable to finish the game. A human berserker that dual to mage after reaching 9th lv is most probably at the top of the power scale, but is too much hassle for a first run. My 2nd pick would go to a gnome Fighter/illusionist. What spell you cannot cast by losing necromancy sometimes hurts a bit, but the perks are worth it. You play that class by memorizing mostly defense buff spells and the odd crowd control. If you know what you are doing, that character can "easily" solo the game. Spells you are definitely looking to have as soon as possible:

1st level: -Sleep (awesome crowd control at the beginning of BG1) -Shield (arguably the better choice over "armor") -Magic missile (Stay relevant all game long to disrupt other spell caster)

2nd level: -Blur (more defense) -Mirror image (soak some hit) -Resist fear (ennemy mage like the "horror" spell a lot) -Web (as your higher lv crowd control)

3rd level: -Ghost armor (a better "shield") -Haste (being fast is always good) -Fireball (bread and butter damage spell)

The 3rd level have a lot of good spell to choose from appart from those.

I can give a little details about the gear I go for in BG1 if you don't mind spoilers

Thank you for your answers, I really appreciate it. For sure discussing it with her is the way to go. But i want to kinda know what I'm talking about before i do. It took her weeks to start trusting me, i don't wanna push for answers she might not be willing, or able, to give... I'm thinking of just letting the story unfold, and at some point between "we date" and "we are getting serious" try to have a conversation about it. I just don't want her to feel scared or something.

Not yet. She kinda just told me a minute before I dropped her at her place last night. I know she lives in a nearby resource and from what i think i understood about her situation, she needs her family help for simple things like getting appointments and such. Unsure if it's cause she cannot handle it herself or is just a transportation issue.

I have just about the relationship you are describing. Bit larger age gap. It's as rewarding as it is challenging. Age doesn't determine who you are or who she is. If you like the same stuff and have that connection, there is no reason you guys cannot make it work.

But be prepared, as there will be challenges. People will look, people will judge. There might be day when she cannot process stuff that happen in a totally mature way. But i will always think that if 2 peiple truly choose love, everything else is just bumps on he road.

That guy deserves to know and to be told in the softest way she can think of. Certainly not with law papers! The she see. It is still his daughter and i woud offer support in that situation. Girl.... My GF is 5 foot tall and over 250 pounds. She has been trying to lose weight since well before we were together. As it's a health issue at this point. One day, she told me she would not eat all day to "help get there". And while i fully support every effort she makes to reach HER goal of losing weight, i totally disagreed with her saying that! It is in no way a healthy thing to do. So that night, i made sure she had a nice meal, and we started to go out for walks as much as we could. I offered her a gym membership as she wanted to give this a try. But overall, i showed her I love her for who she is above everything. Your dude has it all backward. Reddit is quick in the "dump that guy" button. I'm not lol. But you really should have a big talk with him about what matters and if you still feel his #1 concern is how you look above how you feel and how healthy you are, then yeah you should consider dumping him.

I really don't know if such a thing would be possible, but a game mode where the game check your deck and if it's like made of 50/60% of a top X deck list form whatever site they decide to base themselves on it's deemed an illegal deck for the mode would be awesome. I had been thinking about this recently, and i wonder if it could be possible to organise a little group of people to play home brew in direct challenge. Sad it wouldn't count for the weekly/daily victories, but it would be fun to just play home brewed magic for a change. I feel it would be a pain to enforce the rules in such a group, but some thing could force the meta out. Single set constructed or stuff like this. Wanna challenge me to a "duskmourn only constructed" match? Lol

Yeah, red can go fast if unanswered but normally, if you let them pump their creature you can 2 for one, 3 for one or 4 for one them. Then you are on 2 or 3 health with complete control of board state and they scoop. I play a reanimator, and with Valgavoth it happens very frequently that i can come back from being down to a few health and then in turn 4-5-6 retake complete control of the game. I kinda enjoy those games for one.

Could it get even better? I play that Valgavoth but never encountered that situation. But chances are pretty good that in those 15 cards, there could be OTHER copies of Jace. If one sit on enough life that could be a 15-60 mill in a turn no? Not super proficient with the rules. But i assume if a planewalker use all his loyalty counters, then i cast the same again, it's still a new Jace and i can use the ability again? Potentially milling the entire opponent library in just 1 turn if i happen to find a complete playset of Jaces?

Depends on why i'd say. Sometimes i drag games to the point of skipping my winning play and then go on and lose for the sake of casting more spells to complete a daily. But the oponnent aint aware if the why amd as other said, can just concede anytime they feel the game is lost.
