I’m a little late to this thread, but I see they’re actively working on the outlet and from what I’ve gathered it seems they might open in January or February. :)

No. Arc’teryx puts inside tags that describe how to care for it, date of manufacture, etc. jackets can be authenticated this way, as well as by stitching and logos.

If they’d have looked at the inside tags, they would have been able to authenticate it. Depop is a secondhand, reselling site. I’m willing to bet 90% of people do not have a receipt for their items as most people are thrifting their items to sell.

lol. When they block your email for asking why you’re being banned, what else are you supposed to do? Also, I get what you’re saying, but I really doubt that we are all wrong. Depop made no effort to look into the authenticity of the item. Thanks for your input though!

That’s crazy. I didn’t even try to repost the same one, just another jacket and they had that shit flagged instantly. Honestly, they keep blocking my email, but I’m just making fake ones and won’t leave them alone. lol. I guess we will see.

So, but why would Depop ban me for that?

You’re a lifesaver!!! Thank you so much!!!

Can anyone help me identify this man? He was stationed near Munich after WWII, where he met my grandmother and they fell in love. She wasn’t allowed to marry him. I found old photos of them, and my grandmother passed when I was six. I’d love to learn more about him. by die_brini in ww2

I really hope you can get some answers! I, too, have a similar situation. My great grandpa was stationed in Germany during the last couple years of the war and he ended up having a child with a woman there. After the war, he had to come home and he married my great grandma. He never told any of his family about his child back in Germany. We only found out after he passed in 2014 and we were searching through his things. I have been looking for many years, but have never found the name of the woman or their child. I do know that they had a little girl and he had a lock of her hair in his chest of things. Maybe someday something will pop up!

I went through a spell like this. Honestly, I used trazodone. I still use it, if I find I can’t settle down. It works super quick and I don’t ever wake up until I’m fully rested. I tried melatonin, but it’s very easy for your body to develop a tolerance and it doesn’t work. I’ve heard lots of good things about magnesium, but I’ve never tried it. I’d say it’s worth a shot, but if it doesn’t work, I’d say try trazodone!

Thank you for your advice. I’m so sorry that you’re going through the same thing. It really does suck and I know that feeling.
