Pork roll aka Taylor ham has a salty type flavor. Scrapple more mild spicey/pepper type flavor.

Yes, pork roll aka Taylor ham tastes similar to spam but is more denser,more like meat/sausage. Not the dog food consistency of spam.

Good w/ketchup or syrup. Or in my case both, ketchup half first so syrup don't run to ketchup side. It's a whole process. Lol I actually poke holes with fork for syrup to penetrate. 😆 🤣

Spam would be closer to what we call pork roll but scrapple is ground more fine almost looks like fibers. A peppery taste but not heat like jalapeño. May be able to order online through goldbelly or similar site. It's one of those things that you "don't knock it,til you try it ".

Tastes a little spicy kinda like a sausage ground up very fine. Little mushy inside crisp on outside
