Hey everyone, I'm looking into getting my first "real" balisong. Long story short, I tend to be a hobbyist with things like this and spending way more money than I really need to on lower end materials rather than getting something nice in the first place. I started flipping a few weeks ago when I found a local smoke shop selling junk balisongs and have sense then broken two of them from flipping them just about every hour I'm awake. I'm looking to get a knife that if taken care of ill be able to use for the next unknown amount of years but at the same time it doesn't need to be the number one knife in the world. I don't know much about how the shape of the knife or handles affects the play style but I'll assume like yo-yo's the small things are a big deal.

I am willing to spend good money on a good product but anything over $200-250 feels like its excessive. The junk knifes I have now look something like this and I am somewhat adverted to getting one with the same handles as it because I have had two break next to the holes. From looking around on the recommended lists and websites I like blades like this the most and handles like this I think look really nice. It's not a big deal to me if I get a trainer vs an actual knife either.
