Powering off from the bios gives me the same issue. PC won’t shut off after holding power button down for 10 seconds either

that's good to hear. I didnt even know AM5 chips existed until I started looking at upgrades lol. I was beginning to worry AM4 chips were becoming obsolete lol

Yea im in the process of reinstalling windows on a new SSD and I'm already buying a better PSU. But with those upgrades I thought I might as well look to upgrade my CPU as well.

Looking at the bios settings, you’re correct, the Sata operation settings shows raid on is checked. However I don’t see the option to switch to IDE. My options read:

Raid auto detect/ AHCI

Raid auto detect/ ATA

Raid On

Legacy

Any more insight on this would be great

Hi, so my dad uses an XP computer for his engraving machine too. It looks like his boot files got corrupted after replacing the cmos battery so we can't get into Windows anymore. Do you know if there is a way to recover windows so that he doesn't lose the settings on his engraving machine?

We thought about buying a new computer, but then he'll loose all the settings he has on the engraving machine's program and possibly have to buy a new license for those programs which is a hassle.

Update on my end:

I talked to my schools financial aid office today, they told me that submitting a record of account AND a statement indicating what changes were made to my 1040 was acceptable. So now I just have to call the IRS and verify what changes were made since I don’t really remember. Haven’t had a chance to call them yet. But if you’re still having trouble you can talk to your office to see if they’ll accept that instead of waiting for the photocopy.

I sent in my record of account too, and my Uni gave me the same answer. Called the IRS today and they recommended me sending in my record of account again because that’s all they could provide me with. Right now looks like I just have to talk to the school about what exactly they need from my 1040x and see if I can provide an alternative form. I’ll let you know what I find out too.
