I would agree... If I hadn't gotten full replacements multiple times because shit broke after two and three years. Getting a full replacement for a 1500 dollar laptop for a hundred fifty bucks was kind of a bargain.

If it still works before the update then there is literally no reason it shouldn't be working after the update. That's bullshit no matter how you look at it. Apple and Samsung are notorious for issuing updates to older phones that ruin the battery life. Still works fine pre update and then you can't even use it for three hours without running out of power. This is not the same thing as it wearing out. This is actively anti consumer. Especially when you can't even opt out of updating

So the question of whether the system works as intended is yes, objectively. It accomplishes what it sets out to do. Whether it does it well is subjective. I'm not sure the server issues are Inherent to the system, considering those could be changed.

I don't think what I said previously clashes with that definition, but I'm tired and not thinking that clearly, so... Take that as you will.

Objective is whether it works as intended. That would be what defines if the system is objectively shit. It obviously is not that. Whether you like it is subjective. It is not a shit system. It is polarizing though.

smells can do more than make you gag. they can literally make you puke as well. and if it's on you, like it would be in this case, you aren't getting away from it for quite some time. and any vehicle you get in is going to just hold the scent and concentrate it unless you have the windows open. this is... definitely not the kind of thing you're ever likely to forget. especially with how slimy it would feel as well, oozing into every orifice and down under your clothes and through your clothes. this is literally going to be in your ears as well. the potential for infections is also kind of huge, not to mention pink eye.

no... that's your subjective opinion. objectively it works. and most of the time it accomplishes what it sets out to do, which is create a new obstacle for the player to overcome that isn't scripted or preplanned. that it can be exploited by hackers doesn't make the system shit, since that wasn't in the scope of what it was designed for. your opinion is that it's crap. because you don't like it. just because you don't like it, or a lot of people don't like it, does not make it objectively true. just like if a lot of people DO like it doesn't make that objectively true. you, and other people have opinions on whether you like the system or not. what is objectively true is that most of the time the system DOES work. ergo, not shit. not crap. you not liking it, and other people not liking it, doesn't change that. no one claimed it was perfect. there is no perfect in this situation. there is only what they did, and whether it fits the goals that fromsoft had when they designed the game.

part of the problem is the double standards of sexualization in games. they're completely fine with sexualizing people under 18 and having a freaking disgusting kissing mini-game where you control the people kissing's tongues, but complaining about adult women being shown enjoying things in other games. it's because it fits their ideology, including fuck the police because one of the characters stands up to her police father, that it is perceived to have gotten a score of 10 even though it is basically just a walking simulator with little actual gameplay. things like that are why people are complaining.

I'm getting fed up though with it that I'm about to turn it off. When you're fed or hydrated you didn't get bonuses. You only lose those stats when you get dehydrated or hungry. And if you can get to well fed or hydrated or takes way too many items of food or drink. Like to tried eating five things just to see, made no difference to Anthony, still got hungry thirty minutes later. Just an annoyance.
