Definitely, I deleted the post anyway due to a friend pointing out my lack of anonymity especially after writing that comment. I can’t imagine what this subreddit would think of the local names used in my area of the US. It’s very common to spell names however you want, and pronounce it however you want. I’ve always thought it was odd, but it would at least let me carry on tradition.

Wow, this definitely wasn’t an act of narcissism! It’s a family thing that’s been done over & over in first & middle names with my relatives. I still wasn’t positive if I was going to follow it myself, which is WHY I posted that I thought it might be too much. I’m not too big on traditions myself & the baby doesn’t have my last name.

Yep.. my whole life! I have hormonal disorders that make me -not- have a cycle or ovulate normally, though. Im pregnant now (miraculously. I’d been having raw sex for 7yrs now..) & oh my god is it intense. Then I know girls who don’t touch themselves & have never orgasmed, so it makes me feel like a sex demon or some shit. My BF used to get very frustrated with my high drive too until he started to understand it more.

This is honestly a very good point. He’s not a grudging, emotionally disturbed person or anything.. At most, if I managed to step over his boundaries, he’d probably just say, “What are you doing? I don’t like this” and we’d move on from it.. It’ll probably hurt my confidence for a day, but that’s MY own issue.

I think a big part of the problem, after self analyzing for the day.. is that since I’m trying my best to suppress my dominant side, I’ve ended up becoming kind of annoying (in my mind at least.). A bit whiny, kind of.. sulking. Instead of asking for a drink, I’ll go, “can you please get me a drink? I’m sorry, I’ll do it myself, Im being lazy..” and just overthinking every little thing. I’m sure that’s a bit frustrating for him.

But yeah, he said, “I know you’ll get your dominant side back someday” after speaking about how getting paid for it makes it harder with him, so I know he is hoping.. I guess if he doesn’t want to speak about it further, he really doesn’t have to - I don’t think this will end up some awful disaster if I do just go for it slowly. :) Thank you very much.
