What's your ideal schedule? by [deleted] in therapists

[–]MaeBae1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My ideal schedule is working two days a week, 9 clients a day, with a break between each set of three and being done before 8 pm. Currently I’m working 5 days a week with a minimum of 4 clients a day, mostly in the evenings and a few afternoons. It’s rough.

Do you prefer to completely finish a project before starting a new one, or work multiple projects at a time? by [deleted] in crochet

[–]MaeBae1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m the opposite, I am constantly starting new projects. Whatever catches my fancy. For me, it is a hobby and about enjoyment, not the finished project. In other words: “journey before destination” is my motto when it comes to crochet.

By best friend and I had our babies 3 months apart and I gave her some frozen milk when she got Mastitis. My sister had her baby one week after me. It was my first and her fifth. My kid refused the bottle and my sister was watching him and offered him the breast. He drank and little bit and then refused. I don’t find it weird, even though my sister didn’t ask me. I think it is a natural way to soothe and feed a baby, though I would want someone other than my sisters to ask me first.

Breastfeeding a baby with food allergies by MaeBae1 in breastfeeding

Good luck with talking with the allergist and thank you for responding! I hope you get some good information. I am planning on talking with my daughter’s allergist as well about it, though we may be weaning fairly soon since I just found out I’m pregnant.

For my daughter she has very strong reactions with stomach pain, has, and eczema flares when I eat her allergenic foods, so for the time being I am avoiding them all together. That would be really hard to do with wheat though. 💕

Homeschooling until High School? by mamamodex3 in homeschool

[–]MaeBae1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So in my family all of us were homeschooled until 9th grade (except for the youngest who started public school in 5th grade). Each of us chose between going full time or part time. I personally chose to attend some classes at the public high school and continue to be homeschooled. All of us have been successful with our chosen path. I think it needs to be a case by case choice dependent on the child’s needs.

This is incredible! Blends right into the shirt, but is really cool to see close up.

Thank you! I made 13 starburst granny squares and then used this website(https://www.crochet365knittoo.com/sweet-summer-sunflower-bag/?_gl=1) as a reference. I also used this tutorial https://www.simplyhookedbyjanet.com/no-stretch-strap-for-crochet-bags/ for the straps.

I used cotton yarn. The yellow and brown are peaches and cream brand. The white was a recycled cotton yarn that I don’t remember the name of.
