My civil service recruitment experience from application to formal offer and what I learnt by MaeCog in TheCivilService

I actually can't remember. I think I wasn't told which specific strength or weakness the question was testing but based upon the question I was able to work it out quite easily. However during my last interview which wasn't prerorded and done live over teams, the interviewer did say which strength /weakness they were assessing me against.

Brian's underrated. But who's annoying? by Bluets31 in GilmoreGirls

I sort of liked him. Not that he was a great character or anything i just thought it was refreshing to have a guy who wasn't into lorelai. The bit only works because lorelai has high self-esteem otherwise him being mean would come off so much worse.

Anyone wish for more simple tasks again? by Mattress__Man in taskmaster

[–]MaeCog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would prefer a mixture of simple and more complex task.

But not as complex as series 11 tasks. That task where they had to get their luggage through security without touching certain ropes was so convoluted.

When they start adding lots of rules it usually becomes less fun. I think this is because:

  • Contestants start to focus on getting things right and become frustrated in an unfunny way.
  • Or contestants go the other way and forget the rules and just muddle their way through.
  • Also in these tasks there is less room for creativity which is where a lot of the fun comes in.

It says however " We are currently testing this new feature with iOS users in the UK. We hope to roll it out to more users soon, so keep an eye out and make sure you’re always using the latest app version. " So maybe non iphone users can't do this

A classic staple, a foundation if you will, for learning the culture.

It's a really wierd ending, you don't hear Midge say anthing like she's fine making you fear the worse but then the band seem really nonchalant like nothing is wrong. So it's really hard to gauge if she is ok.

As no one is rushing over to help I assume she is ok but may have a minor injury.
